The caring and personable staff really made the stay at this hotel a pleasure. They made an effort to customise things to your taste and were very kind with surprising free drinks when just relaxing by the pool. First time visiting Crete and had a wonderful experience not least because of our fantastic stay at the Mirabello Bay Luxury Resort. Starting with the amazing customer care given by everyone right from the reception welcome to housekeeping and the restaurant staff. You truly feel they all aim to create the best guest experience and prioritise taking care of their guests. A special shout out needs to be given to Matthew, the concierge, who went above and beyond in every respect taking immediate care of any request and ensuring all of our requests were taken care of. There was nothing he couldn't do and truly made our trip the most relaxing and trouble free. In addition to the people, the location of the Mirabello Bay Resort adds to the incredible experience - it is truly a beautiful hotel with fantastic views across the bay and the most magical sunrises. Photos can never do justice to how spectacular the sunrise and sea views are. I would highly recommend staying at the Mirabello Bay and certainly look forward to being able to return.

This hotel, like many others marked as “VIP Access,” offers no real benefits. Despite clear upgrade availability the night before check-in, we were told nothing was available once we mentioned VIP status—a recurring pattern where upgrades are consistently denied using vague excuses. If a non-VIP guest wanted to pay, I’m certain a room would have been available. There was no recognition, no perk, no welcome amenity—nothing. Even after raising the issue with guest relations, no effort was made to address it. Additionally, the advertised valet parking doesn’t exist and isn’t needed—it’s just misleading. This feels more like a marketing trick than a real program. I strongly urge you to review and remove this hotel from the VIP Access list.
