Worst Experience
We booked a 2 bedroom suite unit that included 2 kings beds and a pullout sofa with a living room and kitchen area. The unit we were given was 1 basic room with 2 double beds. The host, who up until this point had been VERY responsive, suddenly had an emergency and couldn’t help us. We were a group of 4 adult females, and didn’t feel safe about this situation. We felt like this was all a scam and not sure who had access to our room. We left the room and called Vrbo customer service immediately to start the refund process. We ended up booking a suite at the Hilton next door. We did end up getting a refund eventually from Vrbo, but I’m not sure anything else was done to mitigate this overall issue. I received an email that our reservation was cancelled by the host because of “guest minimum age”. Not sure what that means - all of us are over 35. I got a refund, so I guess it doesn’t really matter. It feels like this whole situation has been swept under the rug by Vrbo.
