Top Largs Hotel Reviews

Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Needs a clean up badly. Shower head had mold, bathroom in general not very nice and halls were overall musty. Restaurants were ok but slow service. Front desk staff, though young, were great however. Being in the airport, great location for night before early flight but need an update."

Moxy Glasgow SEC

8/10 Good

"The hotel feels like a budget version of the Marriott brand. There’s everything you need and it’s to a good standard but more basic. It feels like it’s aimed at people not spending a lot of time in the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, nothing fancy, it had the feel of a uni/college refectory with a good amount of choice for £15pp. If looking for somewhere to use as a base then it’s a good base to start from for the sec and 20/25min walk into the centre."

Cameron House on Loch Lomond

10/10 Excellent

"From check in to check out, our experience was amazing. We were instantly greeted by a friendly concierge who had a big smile on his face. The Cameron House is simply amazing. Our room was spacious. The gym was a true gym. Wonderful indoor pool area. The hotel is located directly in Loch Lomond."

Glasgow Marriott Hotel

8/10 Good

"The only reason for giving four stars rather than five was in relation to the Leisure Club. The pool is very shallow at one end (I could actually sit on the floor of the pool and have my head above water). This makes it unsuitable for swimming lengths, although I am sure it is very good for children. I would have preferred it to have been the same depth for the whole length. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I can mention by name Euan, who sorted out my check in, but unfortunately can't remember the name of the lady who sorted my check out. When I discovered that I had left an item in my room, I called back and it was very quickly retrieved for me."

Radisson RED Glasgow

10/10 Excellent

"Fantastic stay from the fuss free check in until we left. Lovely room, spotlessly clean and quirky toiletries in the bathroom. Huuuuugggeee bed. Quite possibly the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. The Sky Bar is great with fantastic views of the Hydro, Armadillo and the Clyde. The bar snacks and cocktails are lovely and the food in the Oui Kitchen was very good. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Will definitely return."

Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel

8/10 Good

"Enjoyed our stay, hotel could do with a freshen up and moderise and being senior citizens didn't like the shower over the bath would have preferred walk in shower but apart from that very clean and the staff were all very helpful and friendly, especially in the breakfast restaurant. Definitely would stay again next time we are in Glasgow."
