"Older building, with charm. Perfect for a quick getaway or to hunt and/or fish the area. Beds comffy, a bit loud, with voices coming through from other rooms. TV and coffee. For the price, it is perfect!"

"We had a great stay! Our room was huge, clean, and comfortable. The pool area looked very nice, although we didn’t get a chance to use it this time. The continental breakfast was good and had plenty of options. We’ll definitely be back!"

"The house was beautiful and larger than we anticipated, so for a group of 12 it was perfect. The pool and hot tub both had crystal clear water and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!"
Thornwood Cottage is the perfect little get away

"We love this little cabin! Perfect for a couple. As long as you can climb stairs to get to the loft, and don't mind walking outside to get to the really nice bathroom, which is in the basement of the main house, I highly recommend this place. We have stayed here a number of times and will definitely be going back again!"

"We were very happy with our accomodations at Lansing. There were 2 problems we had. The "centipedes" in the house but only on ground floor. And the TV's in both bedrooms on ground floor were not operable. We never did figure out how to get them to work. The grandkids all LOVED the pool & especially LOVED the hot tub."

"The family had a blast. I would definitely recommend if you have a big group. It's peaceful out at this cabin and I may just have to go back again someday. The host was great, very friendly and was very helpful."
