"Was my favorite hotel during a three week trip to France. Each room was unique, the innkeeper was kind, and the location was amazing. I would love to go back.

"Hotel recently refurbished to a high standard and in central area, with underground parking, although limited and at extra cost, an added bonus. Near bars, restaurants and shops all within walking distance, an ideal location."
"On the photos the hotel with its swimming pool looked good to me but the pool was half empty and closed moreover I found my room not very clean especially the bathroom."
"This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and quite helpful. The hotel is part of a very large restaurant with good food and good service. It is in the main shopping and dining area, and within a short walk to the Chateau, which is the...
"Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans cette hôtel avec nos deux enfants, les chambres sont tres bien, c'est propre et calme. Accueil très agréable. Petit plus possible de stationner notre véhicule au sous sol."
"Excellent campsite, the perfect size for us as we are not a fan of large campsites. It is was fairly quiet and the accommodation (we stayed in a cabin) was clean, modern and reasonably well spaced. It was very well equipped and little items like a dish cloth and washing liquid ect just make the difference. It is just a really well done site. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend. Our 3 year old loved the pool."

3500 SQF/HISTORIC HOUSE WITH WARMED POOL IN THE OLD SAUMUR/GREAT VIEWS
10/10 Excellent
"The house is magnificent, very spacious with great character and has every facilty you could possibly wish for to make a comfortable and relaxing stay.Gilles was a perfect host and made us very welcome. He was attentive but in a discrete and very comfortable manner. The house is in the centre of Saumur and it was very quick and easy to walk to the many good restaurants and shops. The markets on Saturday are close by and well worth visiting. One of the overriding memories we will all have is the view of the beautiful Saumur chateau from the garden and most of the windows. It is breathtaking and just on your doorstep. The pool is magical. A lovely temperaure and just what you need after a hot day sightseeing. We had a great week and if we ever return to Saumur we will defintely be asking Gilles if we can stay at his house again. "
"This was truly a gem within walking distance to the town centre. We adored the gardens, lobby and resting areas, and the spacious room and the pool. The interior furnishings were luxurious. The owners have great pride in the place and attention to detail shows at every corner. The only letdown was the small number of staff, that impacts the service a bit. Still it is excellent value nd recommend to stay more than a couple days to truly enjoy the place. "
"Small hotel that states 2 star but the room was clean and suitable for a short stay the breakfast was good. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the town shops and restaurants. There is parking in a church car park behind the hotel which is free after 1830 and all Sunday, there is some building works going on but this did not impact uas at all. "
"Everything was wonderful. I stayed there 5 days and tried everything, le petit déjeuner delicious, le dîner incredible ! Only thing I didn’t know is that I had to pay extra to enjoy the jacuzzi (why isn’t it included ?). I needed it to warm up bc coming from Miami, the drop in temperature was brutal :). But it’s ok I still loved it ! Thank you !"
