"Was my favorite hotel during a three week trip to France. Each room was unique, the innkeeper was kind, and the location was amazing. I would love to go back.

"Hotel recently refurbished to a high standard and in central area, with underground parking, although limited and at extra cost, an added bonus. Near bars, restaurants and shops all within walking distance, an ideal location."
"On the photos the hotel with its swimming pool looked good to me but the pool was half empty and closed moreover I found my room not very clean especially the bathroom."
"This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and quite helpful. The hotel is part of a very large restaurant with good food and good service. It is in the main shopping and dining area, and within a short walk to the Chateau, which is the...

3500 SQF/HISTORIC HOUSE WITH WARMED POOL IN THE OLD SAUMUR/GREAT VIEWS
10/10 Excellent
"We have just enjoyed an amazing 2 weeks in Gilles gorgeous home. Where to start……The location is amazingly central and ideal for all of the, boulangeries, bars and restaurants that are pretty much on the doorstep yet far enough away that you can’t hear any of it. The drive way is tight and thankfully we had hired a car (Kia sportage) slightly smaller than ours (Skoda Enyaq), which meant we were able to get in, in a 3 point turn. There is parking at the end of the road, but it’s very hit and miss as to whether there’s a space available. The house is just amazing. The rooms are all a great size, beds made up of 2 singles pushed together, so there is lots of flexibility. Each room has an en-suite and there are a couple more showers and toilets available in the house too.The kitchen is a lovely size and very well appointed with an oven, microwave, induction hob & an American style fridge freezer with a water & ice dispenser. It’s well equipped too with several utensils and pieces of crockery.A huge smart tv is in the lounge. We took our fire stick too and the WiFi was absolutely fine to support this - the house is so big, there are 3 separate WiFi connections. The swimming pool and the games room were very well used by us all and we had many games of pool & challenges to beat the top score on the pinball machine, but my husband was gutted that he couldn’t manage it, despite trying.I’ve run out of room but have put have done a video on u tube. It is amazing and i recommend it"
"Absolutely superb hotel! A real little gem close tonthe town centre. With a Michelin star restaurant in it's grounds and a lovely swimming pool overlooking the chateau. Can't recommend it enough."
"Lovely family room. We were late checking in but the reception was v helpful with finding us a restaurant close by. Would recommend for people visiting Saumur - great location "
"This was truly a gem within walking distance to the town centre. We adored the gardens, lobby and resting areas, and the spacious room and the pool. The interior furnishings were luxurious. The owners have great pride in the place and attention to detail shows at every corner. The only letdown was the small number of staff, that impacts the service a bit. Still it is excellent value nd recommend to stay more than a couple days to truly enjoy the place. "
"Small hotel that states 2 star but the room was clean and suitable for a short stay the breakfast was good. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the town shops and restaurants. There is parking in a church car park behind the hotel which is free after 1830 and all Sunday, there is some building works going on but this did not impact uas at all. "
