Good choice for skiing in St. Anton.

It only takes 7 min. to St.Anton by car. Good room condition, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable price. Also, breakfast was really impressive.

A hidden gem 10 mins bus away from St. Anton

I stayed there for 7 nights half board and booked this single room by luck. The hotel is 10 mins away from the busy and noisy ski town of St. Anton and Arlberg by free ski bus. I like the authentic Bavarian still decorations with lots of animal samples around. Breakfast is great with lots of choices. Après-ski is offered free everyday from 3-5:30pm. 4-courses-dinner varies every night with 2 to 3 choices with Thursday a BBQ buffet is a nice but I missed my Friday farewell buffet dinner as I was deadly tired after exhaustive skiing. In-house sauna is offered to relax my muscles after a whole day of exercise. Free swimming pool access is offered to a local swimming facilities around 10 mins walk downhill. The host family is very nice, especially the son, Max :-)

Excellent local experience

This is a family run hotel with very cozy and friendly setting. You will experience the real local food and life. The rate includes breakfast and dinner, and the food is wonderful, and you get an exclusively reserved table during your stay. The food alone may worthy the money. The hotel setting is not luxury, but service the purpose well to skiers. The shuttle bus will take you to the ski lift at St. Anton in around 10 minutes (run every 15 minutes) and the hotel offers your free vouchers so that you can store your skis and boots at a ski storage (Albert) right next to the gondola at St. Anton. The staff is very friendly and tried very hard to those who can not speak German (some staff's English capacity is very limited), and you will get by with their willingness to assist.
