"It was obviously an older home but brought up-to-date and extremely well-kept, lovely and quaint. The owner was absolutely fantastic. She cooked us made-to-order frittatas. She also had a fresh fruit plate for all of us, which was absolutely wonderful. She is such a delightful person! She also had made a homemade bread was waiting in our room (under cellophane) with a fork ready to eat and awesome."

"The over all time was good. I informed the clerk the shower gel was empty and we only had two towels when we booked for 4 people. Was offered towels, but a shrug on the gel. We used shampoo 🙄 no bar soap was available either. Very expensive room without soap. "

"I stay at the Cow Palace every year in November when I go hunting out that way. And my expectations, while never high, are generally met. Rooms are ok, staff is ok, things are clean, and things work. Not this time. The Wi-Fi wasn’t present in my room. No signal whatsoever. The refrigerator was not,nor would it get, cold. I stayed two nights and adjusted it both ways, so I’m pretty sure it was broke. The timer on the heat lamp wouldn’t shut off the light either. All this was pretty minor...
