"We book the house in April. The house needs a deep cleaning. Especially the Kitchen. The evenings were cool and there were not enough extra blankets. The comforters are for summer weather. The water smelled and was really rusty. Unpon arrival the water in the kitchen sink dribbled out of the faucet and no water came out of the downstairs faucet. Contacted owner and he promply sent someone to look at the problem. The faucet screens were clogged and never really worked well after the service man left. We had a hard time regulating the Airconditioning during the day and the last night of our stay we needed Heat because it was going down into the low 40's. The thermostate failed and we had no heat. No extra blankets.I would not recommend staying at this house. Very outdated and needs alot of TLC."

"The stay at lakeview was great. Any questions we had the host responded in a very timely manner. Great location by the water. There is a fantastic donut shop in town that we would recommend for sure. We enjoyed the 4 seasons room as well as the fireplace. A good stay for sure. "

"The house is absolutely adorable and so clean! I especially loved the fluffy great smelling towels in the bathroom and the sink is so cute! This was our first VRBO rental and Jenny answered all of my questions so quickly! Definitely plan on coming back this summer!! "

"The cottage is very cozy! We spent a day at Mad River Mountain and the rest of our time here. We brought a lot of games along, but Cyndi had chess and a few others there too. She decorated for Valentine's Day for us, left amazingly tasteful cupcakes, and even special stuff for our pet that came along! The kids loved the loft! The mattress up there is especially nice too! She left us some firewood for the fireplace, which was so nice, but I wish we had thought to bring some extra from home too. So, maybe that is good tip for someone else who may read this. :) She had tons of pillows and extra blankets too. All very comfy and cozy! She was very responsive when we needed her. Seems to be a very sweet lady and we very much appreciated that. "

"This is a wonderful home, large open living area and back enclosed patio. Beautifully decorated, organized, and clean! Loved the dog-friendly touches, well-stocked kitchen, games, and kids' bedroom. Hostess is delightful and accomodating. I can't imagine anyone having a bad experience here. We would love to return, thank you Chelsea!"
