« We booked this cabin during a trip to Chippewa to visit family in the area. While the place was small, it was perfect for my husband and I, and our Australian Shepherd. The view from the couch looked directly onto the lake, and the location was easy to find. There was one central AC unit, but it kept the place cool. « My sisters and I enjoyed the historical Winter Inn and will definitely be back. The staff was VERY accommodating and friendly. The room, though small, was clean and cute. The downstairs tavern was unique and quite large, and the outdoor patio was charming. We only ate small bites at the restaurant, which was typical "bar food," but again, not really enough to give the food a full review. Our waitress was so very, very nice and we enjoyed our time as a family at the Inn. »

« Wish the rooms had fans to move the air around. Only 1 window unit for the whole house was warm in the rooms at night. Other than that it was wonderful »

« We had a great time staying here, Angie the host was excellent! Great story behind the property, a wonderful work in progress! We had a wonderful time fishing the river and exploring all around! « I stayed in this cute little cabin in a quiet neighborhood by a little lake with my 70 year-old mother while we attended the high-school graduation celebrations of my niece in a nearby town. Everything was as advertised. The host was very responsive when I had questions.There are only a couple of bedrooms and a sofa, so not room for a large family group but perfect for my mom and I.The only very minor issue was the high step up into the cabin. My mom commented that she felt it was very high....
