"Beautiful hotel and casino. Room was comfortable and clean. Outdoor pool was beautiful. Casino was beautiful! Downside- no front desk support until mid afternoon. Two people at desk and 6 people in line but desk won’t open for 35 minutes. Pool is great but pool bar was closed. Verify amenities as they aren’t all available each day."

"We enjoyed our stay at The Blue Heron on the upper floor. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the lake and the hot tub in our room. This hotel is outdated but the vibe is great if you’re looking for a laid back lakeside atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and we enjoyed a nice dinner at Tbones with wonderful service. My only warning to anyone with a sensitive nose is that the use of floral disinfectant is quite strong through the building. We did appreciate the coffee in the lobby and the breakfast in the morning. Thank you to the staff who work very hard there!"

"Pros: this rental is pet friendly (I try to thank all owners for being pet friendly); Bill is an excellent communicator; love the location; the property is large; the air conditioner works well; the bedding and towels are high quality; great hot water; the screened in porch is where we hung out the most. Cons: feels dark inside with all the lights on; seems like minor upgrades (mugs and plates) could make a big difference; additional utensils needed; you hear the trains pass by (as much of the area does)."
