Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Front desk staff was nice and helpful.
Hot tubs were out of service so they waived the $28 per day resort fee (I didn't use parking either). The restaurant is closed Tues/Wed which was 2 of our 4 day stay. I would have liked to eat there but didn't get the chance. The shower door wouldnt close, so we had a large pool of water every morning in bathroom. Beds were okay. Location is excellent.
Beautiful hotel in the great location of Olympic Valley. Room was very nice and clean with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious. Pool/patio area was very inviting.

All good room was a little bit small and carpet had some stains but otherwise bathroom was extremely big and nice
the only thing that would make this better is if they had breakfast on site...and a TV that could stream content. otherwise it's a top notch location for anyone that is skiing at palisades!

It was NOT quiet unfortunately. We had doors slamming and partiers in our row until at least 10. Everything else about our stay was nice and comfortable.
Located in beautiful Palisades Tahoe Valley, we didn’t know PlumpJack had rooms, we thought it was just a restaurant. Foremost, the staff was outstanding and made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. They catered to our needs and our stay was very comfortable. Taryn asked us our plans the morning we left and recommended a local restaurant for breakfast, which we tried, and it was outstanding! Our visit to the area was perfect!

Love the location to the Olympic Village, pet friendliness, super comfy bed and the bar for bites and creative libations. All staff were wonderful. We fully expected high rates for the convenient location and splurged $2500 for 3 nights over Valentines & Presidents weekend. We wouldnt pay that again unless PlumpJack refreshed its tired rooms. It’s time….
The property seemed old and tired. The pool looked beat up....as did the general area in and around the hotel. No A/C and limited help from the in-room fan. The property needs a complete redo and clean up. Although, I must admit...we did enjoy the service and the dining at the Cafe. No outdoor seating during the week.
We stayed at the PlumpJack Inn in Olympic Valley for a ski trip and booked the one-bedroom suite. Just a heads up — it’s essentially two connecting hotel rooms. One side had a king bed, and the other had a pull-out couch with a table and chairs. Both rooms had their own bathrooms, which was actually a huge win. Ladies… you know how nice it is to have your own bathroom while traveling. He used one, I used the other. Zero sharing. 🙌
The absolute best part? They are SO dog friendly. They provide bowls and dog beds, and they even give your pup treats. It made traveling with our dog feel easy and welcome.
Location-wise, you really can’t beat it. It’s right across from the Village and the closest lift is the Tram, which is a huge plus when you’re clunking around in ski boots. Being that close makes ski mornings (and afternoons) so much easier.
We had a mini fridge in the room, and you can rent a microwave for $25 for the stay — totally worth it for us. The front desk staff was amazing. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They gave great recommendations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and even offered road safety tips when we were heading out.
The hotel also has a restaurant/bar on-site that’s open Thursday through Monday. We were able to eat there one night and it was delicious. My only complaint? I wish it were open seven days a week!
Another great perk for skiers: they’ll hold your skis behind the front desk, which is such a convenient touch.
Our first time staying here and won’t be the last. We had to cancel one of our dates because our car was stuck in the shop longer then expected and we passed the 7 day cancellation policy but the manager Andrea was able to help us out and refund our money. All of the staff were friendly and hospitable. The hotel was small and cozy located right next to the Olympic village. Convenient to walk to. It was very quiet and peaceful over here. The hotel had bikes you could borrow to cruise and explore the area. The pool and spa area was inviting and had lots of tables and lounge chairs to relax in. The room was spacious with large bathroom and soft comfy bed.
We originally planned to go mountain biking but we ended up just making it a romantic quality time spent and enjoying the Olympic Village area. There’s a cool tram you can take next door that take you to the top of the mountain with breathtaking views. Expensive but cool experience.

Liked: Cleanliness
The room looked clean, but unfortunately it did not smell fresh. There was a noticeable odor, like dust and something stored away for a long time, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. With better ventilation or a deeper cleaning, the experience could have been much better.
