"Really nice hotel, conveniently located near Te Pua geothermal park. We all loved the room,which was perfect for a family of 4. The breakfast was really good with lots of varieties and really tasty. The special addition was the outdoors heated pool which we all loved and wish we could stay longer to enjoy."

"Amazing location and views of the lake.Facilities provided were as expected except the towels which could really do with replacing, very much like using sandpaper.The pressure in the shower was terrible and very hard to adjust the temperature.On arrival the cottage smelt very damp & musty this didn’t improve even with opening windows & doors until the last day of a 5 night stay."

"Perfect spot for our family to stay for a long weekend. The view was amazing, and I loved how the house was actually big enough to cater for the amount of guests able to sleep there. The hosts were incredible accomodating with adding people for a few extra nights. Highly recommend! "

"The home was conveniently close to the wedding venue we needed at Langfords and a lovely view of the countryside, being very quiet and relaxing. The driveway is steep and would be more suited to 2 vehicles (not 4 as we had)The house is spread over 3 levels with the kitchen area being in the second level. Attaching level 1 to 2 by a narrow spiral staircase and an outdoor staircase to the level 2 deck. Level 2 to level 3 had an extension of the narrow spiral staircase. 8 adults stayed and found majority of things there that we needed after supplying the expected sheet sets, bathroom towels, tea towels and dish clothes and needing to supply our own coffee, milk, etc. Overall a great family gettogether in a quirky designed house. "Communication was smooth, mostly all went as expected and as described. Nice views from the living. Very close to the beach. Would recommend to use Steep Street for getting in and out, as it can be quite a sharp turn"
