A great cozy family and pet friendly place to stay. The mini cabin feel, with an amazing log bunk bed, made it fun for our daughter and us. Location also great, short drive to the heart of lake placid where you can enjoy a walk through all the shops and dinning available. Staff was very nice and greeted us warmly. We hope to return for a longer visit.

Took a break in between backpacking so I can shower and use the wifi for work… wifi doesn’t work in the morning, heat broken, and the staffs outside singing at 9am

Cozy and comfortable cabins
Very cozy, remodeled cabin, with all the amenities needed. Nice outdoor fire pits, very friendly and helpful staff. The kids really loved the loft space :)

The idea of having an outside fire is marvelous! fresh coffee at the front desk super also. Individual cabins is the best!

An older cottage-style place, close to downtown, but outside of the crowded and crazy area. It was just the two of us, so we had the smallest room available. The staff were great and the place was clean. However, it is 'cabin-y' so it's not a standard hotel room. That being said, we enjoyed our time there and got to sit out under the pergola for lunch. It was nice seeing the fire going each night as well. Our room was small, so I think if we stayed here again, which we would, we would definitely upgrade to a larger room/unit.

Nice touches everywhere, but the mattress was like a marshmallow and made it hard to sleep. It really needs replacing. Also rug was dirty. We are staying at a great motel that has faux wood tile and it is clean and nice. You have done many things well, but the things I mentioned. Thanks.

Cute clean rooms - great stay!
Excellent service, accommodating about late check in. Cute, clean rooms with fridge and microwave- great for hikers! The only thing I didn’t like is the worn microfiber sheets. ☹️ But you can’t have everything, and it was a great room and setting for the price. Would def go back!!

Winter Weekend
We were in the area to enjoy the end of 'winter' - XC skiing etc. The proximity to town and local attractions was great. We were looking for economy and it ended up being a good option. The unit we stayed in was a classic Adirondack Motel/Motor-inn and was in good condition. The staff were friendly and provided housecleaning services each day. The unit we stayed in(1) adjoins the neighboring unit and was not soundproof. If it is privacy you seek, they may have some stand alone units available.

Nice quiet place. Comfortable. Staff was very nice. Did not give 5 star rating because microwave was unusable. Had a smell and needed cleaning. Other than that…I would stay there again.

Perfect for a ski getaway. Close to town, easy access to Whiteface and staff couldn’t have been more helpful! Lovely warm room and anything we forgot to bring the staff helped us get. Will stay again.
