« The room was clean and comfortable. House keeping were so nice especially Suzanne. Reception was terrible, don’t have the basic of hospitality and how to be welcoming or of help with situations. In general, if you want to be around old down town and see the real Alexnadria, you can benefit from the location but rather than that, it is not the best place to enjoy a good, comfy and quiet stay. »

« You say it has 14 pools. Has 6 You say speak English and Arabic. No one in the hotel spoke English. Not even the manager. No ATM. I booked for collection from the airport. No one turn up. No one said why they didn’t turn up or said sorry. Not even the manager came to see me. I was the only European person in the hotel. Every other guest was from Egypt. Daily cleaning of the room only done for Egyptian people. I asked for them to make up my room. All he did was change the duvet cover. No clean...

"Mon séjour à Alexandrie a été absolument parfait grâce à cet hôtel exceptionnel ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une chaleur et une gentillesse incroyables, on se sent vraiment comme à la maison. Tout le personnel est d’une bienveillance rare, toujours souriant, disponible et attentionné. Je tiens à adresser un immense merci à Yousra, Imen et Mahmoud, les housekeepers de notre étage, pour leur professionnalisme, leur gentillesse et leurs petites attentions quotidiennes. Grâce à eux, notre chambre était toujours impeccable et pleine de bonnes ondes. Un grand merci également à la personne de l’accueil (je crois qu’il s’appelait Ali) qui nous a reçus à notre arrivée et s’est occupé de notre check-in avec une grande amabilité et un professionnalisme exemplaire. Un grand bravo à toute l’équipe pour cette ambiance conviviale et authentique, on sent qu’ils aiment leur travail et qu’ils ont à cœur de rendre le séjour des clients inoubliable. Je recommande cet hôtel les yeux fermés et j’y reviendrai sans hésiter lors de mon prochain passage à Alexandrie !"

"We absolutely loved Alexandria, but our stay at the Cherry Maryski Hotel was a terrible experience. Check-in took a frustrating 45 minutes at 3:30 a.m. The three staff members at the front desk seemed entirely preoccupied with a single family ahead of us, treating our arrival as an afterthought. Once we finally received our key, the bellman insisted on escorting us to our room—despite the fact that we were carrying our own two backpacks and he never offered to help. He then demanded a tip, and when we declined, he shouted at us. Unfortunately, the worst part was the room itself. It reeked of mold and had a strong musty odor, compounded by a harsh chemical smell lingering in the hallway. The carpet was absolutely filthy—easily the most disgusting we’ve ever encountered. Noise levels were unbearable, and not just from outside; The pool’s water quality was questionable —pigeons were literally drinking from it. Throughout our stay, we encountered several other annoyances, including a painfully slow checkout process and consistently sluggish service. This hotel seriously detracted from an otherwise wonderful trip. I'm short, stay somewhere else..."
