Great hotel for quality, service and price!
The staff at this hotel is amazing! Very accommodating to pets and changes like extending a stay at the hotel.

Great lakeside cabin
Although the drive up to the resort was a little nerve-wracking, once you arrive it's worth it. Friendly staff, lovely little log cabin with more facilities than we expected. Well-equipped kitchen and outside barbecue, log burner, great shower and bathroom, and reasonably comfortable bed. This is a great place to get away from it all, without roughing it. Lovely lake and walks. Didn't try the wellness centre for a massage, but was tempted. We stayed 2 nights but wish we had stayed longer.

Authentic Wilderness Experience is Great Value
Considering I was looking for a unique Canadian "woodsy" experience for my two European students - without spending a fortune - I was very pleasantly surprised with Beaver Lake Mountain Resort. Our two day stay was outstanding; the cabins rustic, basic but exceptionally clean and well equipped for cooking your own food. We rented a boat for a tour of the lake which was also extremely reasonable ($45 for 4 hours!). It is very surprising to have this close to nature so close to the city (Kelowna and Vernon are within 30 mins). The access road is a little bumpy, but nothing to be concerned about - and very well worth the drive! Helpful, friendly and laid-back staff which is always a huge plus. I would definitely recommend this place and will certainly revisit in the very near future. - Bruce
