« WOW! What a fun house. We watched the sunset from the pool and turned around and watched the stars by the campfire. Really enjoyed the eye for detail in the construction of the house. « We wanted to have a full Big Bend experience. After doing research online, I went with this location. The videos on their website sold me. We could see the Chiscos mountains from our patio. It was designed to help block the winds at night. We sat under the stars by our fire and just soaked it up. The bed and pillows were comfy, and we felt like we were really in the middle of nowhere...perfect. The hosts were easy to communicate with and the stay was everything we wanted. »

« I've been camping in Big Bend and I've stayed in other more gimmicky locations when visiting, but Mucho Gusto blew everything else away. My kids and I were almost more excited to stay at the property instead of hiking and practicing our photography in the park! Now we're planning repeat trips centered on Mucho Gusto and bringing my partner with her kids. It has all the amenities one could hope for in a desert town: full kitchen, shaded sitting areas outside, grill, propane fire table, horseshoes...

« We loved staying in the glamping tent and will visit again! The instructions to get to the property were very clear (able to do it in the dark with a mid-size SUV easily). Host called the day before to make sure we would be able to communicate with them. Tent was spotless when we arrived and included a couple water bottles, first aid kit, and plenty of lighting. The firepit was great to have and there are a couple chairs inside the tent to use for sitting around it. Showers at Terlingua Ranch...

« Rustic but very comfortable in a rustic area. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioners were cold, and the house was clean and well stocked. The bathrooms were clean and well supplied. Checking in and entering the house was very easy. Check out was as easy as a text saying we were gone. The town is very rustic and real close to Terlingua Ghost town, and Lajitas. And very close to the Big Bend National Park West Entrance. »
