« Well-appointed cottage that was once a stable block. Very nicely renovated with all the essentials that you need in a vacation home. Welcome pack (including a small bottle of milk!). Comfortable bed. Wood burning stove plus electric heaters. Set on its own behind the main house, it is visited by sheep grazing on common land and deer coming down to visit. Beautiful part of the country and well recommended for those wanting tranquility and calm (no tv!). »

« Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fantastic cottage, ideally situated for exploring the area and beyond. Very clean and well equipt, very comfortable bed. Within about one mile of Dunrobin Castle and just across the road to the beach. We also drove to visit The Castle of Mey and John O’Groats. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cottage was quintessential Scottish and beautiful. Beds very comfortable. Only suggestion would be to have a coffee maker for those of us who would like a pot of coffee and didn’t have a dryer. Fortunately we were able to dry clothes in the glorious sunshine while we were in the Highlands. Strathpeffer was a lovely place to visit. Drove to Ullapool for the day, great day trip. Overall, highly recommend this beautiful spot! »

« Love at first sight is an overused phrase. But for us seeing the cottage in the distance as we drove across the Mound on the A9, it really was. The cottage was perfect in every sense. Cozy, comfortable and set with stunning views all around. The owner has equipped with everything you need to make this a perfect holiday home and the bonus of very comfortable beds at the end of the day. There are so many great walks in the area that coming back to the fantastic hot tub makes it all worth while....

"Perdu au milieu des highlands avec vu sur le lac. Incroyable lieu. Accueil agréable. chambre/kitchenette top. Lits confortables. Attention plus de connexion d’internet dans la chambre. "

"Je mets clairement 5 étoiles pour remonter la note de cet hôtel qui ne mérite pas une note si basse. Je crois qu’une rénovation récente a eu lieu ; en tous cas il était très bien ! Un parking super équipé (prises véhicules électriques, emplacements moto, garage à vélo fermé à clé…). Petit déjeuner très correct et varié. Service attentionné. Le seul bémol : une très grande salle de bains bien vide : il mériterait quelques tablettes ou meubles en plus pour poser ses affaires ailleurs qu’au sol ; mais sinon franchement correct !"
