« Paul was a very friendly host adding nice touches such as fresh milk in the fridge for the supplied tea, coffee and biscuits. Started a fire in the wood stove and it was such a cozy evening. Really lovely place. »

« They said the cooker was broken however we feel that they should have had someone to repair it asap. We understood there was no Tv or wifi but in this day and age anything is possible even if you have to raise the price. We were not told about electricity that it was a key meter it was only when an alarm was going off we traced it to electric box to find there was only 50p left on it we put key on and it added another £15 which went nowhere these are very expensive devices. « Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fantastic cottage, ideally situated for exploring the area and beyond. Very clean and well equipt, very comfortable bed. Within about one mile of Dunrobin Castle and just across the road to the beach. We also drove to visit The Castle of Mey and John O’Groats. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cottage was quintessential Scottish and beautiful. Beds very comfortable. Only suggestion would be to have a coffee maker for those of us who would like a pot of coffee and didn’t have a dryer. Fortunately we were able to dry clothes in the glorious sunshine while we were in the Highlands. Strathpeffer was a lovely place to visit. Drove to Ullapool for the day, great day trip. Overall, highly recommend this beautiful spot! »

« The only thing that really upset us around iur stay was when we were using tbe hot tub and garden area a local women came around and started shihting at us in her PJs to keep the noise down. »

« Love at first sight is an overused phrase. But for us seeing the cottage in the distance as we drove across the Mound on the A9, it really was. The cottage was perfect in every sense. Cozy, comfortable and set with stunning views all around. The owner has equipped with everything you need to make this a perfect holiday home and the bonus of very comfortable beds at the end of the day. There are so many great walks in the area that coming back to the fantastic hot tub makes it all worth while....
