Our goal is to keep our prices as competitive as possible, in order to keep them competitive it's important that we avoid the losses that come from cancellations. For those that don't like the risk that comes with cancellation policies, we strongly recommend you look into travel insurance. Example request. "I had to cancel because my kids are sick. I didn't purchase the recommended travel insurance. My stay is 3 days away. I'm requesting a credit for the owner payout amount to be used to reserve the same property 3 days before our stay. I.e, we want to stay August 23rd so I will make a request on August 20th if the unit is still available. Thanks." We will share this with the owner and encourage them to allow us to agree. No exceptions will be made if the process is not followed. The Master Bedroom bed was so small, that it's uncomfortable for two people. The review does not allow for photos or videos, unfortunately. The shower handle was falling off and I almost burned myself because the handle was broken and would not let me change the temp without some effort. We didn't use the dining table, but used one chair, and the leg was broken and literally falling off. The sliding screen door would barely open and close. My husband made coffee and the coffee maker left all of the grinds in your cup, I wish I could share a video because I can't make this up. So much money was spent on this condo and they couldn't even include an ice tray for ice, not even a dishwasher, or a sprayer in the sink should tell you how low-end this property is. Now, the view is 100% amazing, but that's it. The pool is located across the street and I had no desire to even go there and swim, it's like an apartment unit with a cheesy pool. I did complain to the property manager who offered to send someone over to fix everything or let me cancel and leave ASAP. It was the Fourth of July weekend and I wasn't about to babysit someone in our unit fixing everything nor was I going to fight for a room somewhere else on a holiday weekend. We spent a $$$$ for a broken, below-average unit that had a nice view. Next time, I prefer to spend my money at a resort with amenities, thumbs down! ##### Linda G.
