"Before continuing, I need to point out the property we stayed at was a lovely villa, part of a community os identical units. It was lovely but it is NOT the photo above. It was very confusing driving there: while getting higher up the mountain, it was decidedly not going to be the photo of property booked. This should be corrected. Really. Otherwise, the place was lovely and well located a 10 ish walk down to beach. We never did find the pool."

The pool was very good. We have down graded our rating for 4 reasons: 1. There is no air conditioning or fans. On hot evenings like we had, the bedroom area is very hot and we struggled to sleep 2. "Our stay in this lovely spot on the Algarve Coast was wonderful and Kurt's home has everything you will need to enjoy your travels. We were right off the Seven Hanging Valleys hike. We walked into Benagil every evening for dinner and there are some great restaurants to choose from. There was a grocery store down the street to get essentials. I highly recommend this home."

"We booked a getaway for our family of 3 and came across this house, too big for us but it was just where we wanted to be. Lovely landlady struggled to get hold of her at first but was sorted before we arrived. The house is much bigger in person 4 big bedrooms, 4 big bathrooms, comfy lounge & 2 dining tables. "We had an amazing time at this house as a whole family. The listing is exactly as describe. The pictures and description of the property are very accurate. We had excellent communication with our hosts who provided many recommendations for what to do and see in the area. There are three bedrooms and perfect for 3 adult couples or a family with children. The beach is a 5 minute walk and it is easy to get around the area even without a car. We will definitely be coming back to visit again."

"While this is a good location, the property and manager were incredibly disappointing. When we arrived, the lockbox was not labeled with the code given by the manager. Eventually, we found it, but the key was NOT in the lockbox. The manager did not answer his phone. Someone else who had a property found the key for us. There was NO wifi. "Very enjoyable place to stay. There were untypical temperatures and we would have loved some air conditioning. The pool was cleaned every few days and would be perfect for adults but isn’t child friendly. We had a 3 year old who is learning to swim but was too afraid to go into the pool as is the same depth with no graduation (about 1.5 meters) all over. The nearby shop is close and well stocked. Overall I would highly recommend this villa for adults and children over 5."

"Located in a quiet area of Carvoeiro the property and grounds, pool etc are kept in good condition. Apartment was well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine etc and AC. All staff were friendly and very helpful. A hire car is useful but Carvoeiro is walkable, but the the return walk is uphill and very steep in places. Cars can be hired through the hotel and the rate we got was better than going direct to the bigger companies. We would definitely return here if we go back to this area....
