"While convenient to Kings Dominion, the hotel has nothing around it with the exception of a less-than-average Mexican restaurant. It is not the hotel's fault. If you plan to get dinner, it will probably be from delivery. My only complaint was the bed. Very hard, and the pillows were very small. However, a friend who was also staying there said her bed was fine. The convenience factor to the park and to the fairgrounds is a major plus. No getting on I-95 to get to either"

"Our room Smelled of mold and damp air. Clean on the surface . Cleaners did not wipe window sill. Had dead bugs and grime . Could not stay in room as when you breathed in it felt off. Could not open door to air out as chlorine e from the poolwas very strong. .We spoke to Jessica at front desk right away . She could not move our room as they had nothing available. She understood and would give a full refund . As we went through Expedia we are waiting on our refund."

"I can't say enough good things about the staff that works here. They were all so friendly throughout our stay and made us feel so welcome. The room was just what we needed for days in the parks. AC was cool, water was hot, and Netflix on the TV was nice. The Mexican restaurant attached is also very good. Strong drinks and delicious food. We had a great stay here, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Thanks again!"

"First room had neither fridge nor microwave; staff member had to visit about 6 rooms before he found one with both, and both functional. ("Functional" for the microwave means here that it made food hot; turntable didn't turn, and timer didn't time. Ice cream in the freezer compartment of the fridge became soup after about 36 hours.) WiFi was low-strength signal and very slow with constant dropouts, which was probably related to the single access point I saw across 3 floors; I had to tether my computer to my phone if I wanted reasonable service. At least it was cheap."

"One of the worst rooms. Condom packages outside of the door, people screaming all night and there was no bathroom door on our room? Our first room was covered in a ton water all over the floor.. The rooms we’re disgusting reeked of smoke.. It was trash all over the walkways and “hallways” The shower curtains and towels were covered in some random stains."

"We had to move to a different room after the first night because the carpet was wet!!!! You can’t walk without a shoes ! Hey what's what's whatThe AC wasn’t working properly, staff was horrible!! We asked for toilet paper the room service worker said I’ll be back and never did !! Another house keeper knocked on the room door to ask when are we leaving!!! Second time she knocked on the door and walked away I went out and asked her why did she do that she didn’t answer and left !!!!! This place is horrible used to be much better"
