"We had a lovely stay at this property. It was very quiet so allowed us to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We enjoyed exploring the trails. Our dog loved it too! The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay, it’s clean and well appointed. We would definitely stay here again."

"Our family of 4 stayed with another family of 4 and had an absolutely fantastic time. The area was quiet and serene, the cottage was immaculately clean and well kept, and the grounds were lovely. The deck was amazing to enjoy a coffee and look at the river in the morning. The river was steps away from the door, and easy access for our young kids with water shoes. You can fish right off the dock, and our youngest caught a fish on our last night there! The hosts were so nice with very prompt communication, and clear expectations of us as guests. If you are considering staying here...do it! You will not regret it and will most definitely have a fabulous time. :)"

"This is a pristine-clean and very well-stocked property in a perfect location! Location: lots of picturesque small islands easily reachable by kayaks, grocery shop 5 minutes away, bike trail with 19th century bridge, 15 minutes to the waterfalls and via ferrata, 1 hr drive to Bonnechere caves. Cottage: all utensils, spices and oils, lots of outdoor seating, nice beach, fantastic views on the wide river, lots of shade and a well-cared lawn. Very clean, especially the bathrooms, which is amazing given that it's a pet-friendly cottage.Things to know: bring water shoes and binoculars to explore the islands. There's a huge garage at a neighboring property with some big machinery going in and out sporadically and lights on all night, but the treeline shades most of it out, except from the master bedroom. There's no dishwasher or washing machine, so come prepared!The host is very helpful and replies immediately."

"White Oaks was a beautiful property and perfect for a weekend of relaxing and visiting with close friends. The kitchen is well-stocked and we were able to make a variety of dishes. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub a perfect place to sit and let stresses of life melt away. Our host was gracious and responded quickly to any messages we sent."

"The cottage was a lovely renovated home with lots of room and so many thoughtful amenities. The covered deck overlooking the river was a favourite place to hang out and the propane fire pit a thoughtful addition. We did miss having easy access to swimming in the Ottawa River and would recommend bringing personal watercraft next time. But there was a wonderful beach near Beachburg that was a great place to spend a hot afternoon. The washer and dryer and utility cupboard were very appreciated, as was the wonderfully stocked kitchen."

"Wonderful stay at this lakefront property with all needed amenities. Our host was readily accessible and responded to the few queries we had promptly. The property is modern, clean, comfortable and family friendly. As mentioned in the description the inlet is shallow and deep with deep mud making swimming impossible. That said the 2 kayaks and inflatable allow for access to the larger lake where swimming and fishing is available. Our family very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommended it to others."

"Very clean and fresh Cabin with comfortable beds and couch. Well stocked with all conveniences. The cabin stayed cool, even on the hot days. We made good use of the hot tub, fire pit and games:)) Very lovely view of the river in a relaxing setting. Sonia, was always super quick to get back to us with all our questions before our trip. No issues during our trip. Thank you for the lip balm and hand cream. Very nice way to try a new product!! Recommend 100% :)"
Cabin on the River- Le Chaleureux

"Lovely place on the river, obviously previously used for hunting. Communication with Jessica was excellent, the beds were comfortable and the place is stocked with everything you need. There are two cabins that are open concept, each one with two double beds. The large cabin has a single bunk bed on top of one of the double beds. Both were air conditioned. The washroom is a separate building with a flushable toilet and shower. We really enjoyed our stay!"
