"Great place . I had a problem with the coffeemaker in the room and it was replaced within 15 minutes. Only thing was no housekeeping came in at all for the three days we were there. I put our full trashcan in the hall and it was emptied. I had to track down a housekeeper because there was no extra toilet paper in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was awesome but there were no towels."

"A very nice, clean room … and overall a nice stay … Breakfast was simple (bagels were a bit stale) … the walkways were noisy in the evening (little kids running …!). But quiet the rest of the night … lots of early risers (hikers?) on a Monday morning … we’d return another day for sure!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Appenzell Inn. Everything was great except the beds are REALLY HARD. I doubled 6 blankets underneath the bottom sheet to make it somewhat comfortable. A pillow top or gel topper would work wonders."

"I actually liked the hotel. The staff was friendly my room was clean. Of course it’s dated but it didn’t bother me. It’s expected with an old hotel. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars was because my door didn’t fully close and the only thing holding it was a flimsy chain. It was closed but not shut if that makes sense. I was passing through and only need a night so it was perfect. The breakfast was a bagel with ham and cheese or sausage and cheese I believe. I know it was a choice and it was pipping hot. It took me ten minutes to get to it and it was still hot. Overall nice stay. I arrived late so I don’t know if anything is close by. But there is a gas station right next door. It was perfect for my early morning commute. Hope this helps."

"The cabin was incredibly cozy and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking essentials, and we really appreciated all the toiletries and other little sundries provided. Fall River right outside is absolutely gorgeous, and it’s impossible to beat falling asleep to the sound of the water. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!"

"Clean,comfortable and such an amazing location! Really enjoyed watching the Elk,Marmot,Hummingbirds, Magpies,Swallows and all the rest of critters from the porch. Amazing!!!"
