"Yes, the kitchen was equipped very minimum utensils. Their apartment is on the third floor so there’s no elevator so you will be taking the stairs up and down other than that. Everything was a perfect getaway."

"The Lafayette House is in a great location in midtown Mobile. We will continue to stay here when we’re in town because it’s welcoming for our entire family, dog included. This is one of the few trips we take and don’t have to lug a giant metal crate with us because it’s already provided, as are clean food and water dishes. Our stay this year was during St Patrick’s day, the house was decorated for the holiday complete with beads and headbands for us. The host is easy to communicate with and incredibly responsive. I highly recommend the Lafayette House for those staying in Mobile (especially with dogs)!"

"Clean and spacious. Could use a little air freshening. Could smell mold which comes from an older home I realize. Floor could be repaired. Pieces of the floor were a little hard to navigate as they were sticking up "

"The host sent me a message on Feb.7 saying that we couldn’t stay at her property that we booked for Feb.14. She told me I needed to request a cancellation to get my money back!! It was past the time I was allowed to do that. I was on a cruise and didn’t get the message until I got back to Mobile on Feb.14. Everything was booked because of Mardi Gras. We had to drive 4 hours back home because we couldn’t find another place to stay. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND "
