Close to a nice, small beach. Nice pool, but a bit too deep for the kids. Marked and activities nearby. Long walk to the city centre, but we could also take bus or a taxi-boat. La Rochelle is a very beautiful city.

Simple but OK

Simple standard, nice view over harbour, sunset. Close to the beach restaurants, small food shop. No housekeeping, which came as a surprise to us. Okay pool area.

This property was in a perfect location , beside the beach, waterbus and buses. Rooms small and basic but was ideal for 2 peopke for a 4 night stay. Bonus having a lovely pool. The outside around the pool and garden areas could do with a bit of maintenance. No aircon which may be a problem for some in very hot weather. But would stay there again

It was a great location good cheap buses to town every 15 minutes . Lots of nice food right there . The room we had with a third bed for child - the room was way too small for this and hot and stuffy , ok as a double - not ok as a family room . No air con so very hot in heat wave but at least nice opening window .downstairs and pool area very nice …pay for a balcony I should have it would have been much better .

Ok for 1 or 2 nights, pool area is lovely, outside of the front of building looking very tired, but back of it where pool is, much nicer. A little gob smacked when I asked reception for a hairdryer, they wanted me to leave my ID (ie passport I had no other form of IS) I really don’t need to collect hairdryers, I could buy on if necessary but I’d have thought hairdryer would be a normal it to find in the room. Young receptionist working to rule tbf

Great location near marina and beach.

A great location and very inexpensive hotel with pool. Great access to old town by ferry for 3Euros. It was better than expected we were very pleased with our choice.

We attempted to check in during the reception open hours as stated in the listing information. Nobody was there. An out of hours number was on the desk so we attempted to call it multiple times. Called the number listed on Expedia multiple times. Sent messages. I have still had zero response over a week later. Had to book with another hotel 30 mins drive away. Would not recommend this place to anybody.

Felt unsafe

Unfortunately we were woken up at 1am to the sound of men shouting and fighting within one of the hotel rooms. There is no on-site reception or security overnight and it took over an hour for the threatening screams to stop. On check-out the staff were apologetic and mentioned that other people had also complained of their experience. The hotel kindly provided a 25% refund from the stay but I'd personally not stay here again as we felt quite unsafe overnight.

This is a classic example of misleading descriptions and pictures. This is one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. The room itself is so small it's a real struggle for two people to move around in it. The bathroom was definitely an after though as you have to step over the toilet to get into the shower. The kitchenette was in a disgraceful condition with damaged cutlery and fixtures and not at all clean. At night gangs of youths congregate outside the hotel drinking and being disruptive well in the the early morning make residents feel unsafe as the reception in not staffed 24hrs.

Chambre bien agencé cuisine fonctionnel. Cependant douche petite. Avec malheureusement une coupure d eau sur la seule journée que J avais réservé. Très belle piscine et agréable. Présence d un rooftop mais pour lequel nous n'avons pas pu avoir l accès. J'ai réservé une chambre avec le prix sur vue port. Malheureusement c était plus une vue parking que vue port. Favoriser la vue piscine.

Excellent séjour en famille

Une vue imprenable sur le port des Minimes une chambre bien équipée une très jolie piscine la seule amélioration que je suggérerais et qui aurait été agréable à avoir compte tenu de la proximité de la plage aurait été d'avoir un coffre dans la chambre pour garder clé de maison de voiture etc.
