"Avoid This Hotel. This hotel feels more like a 2-star establishment. The hotel is isolated, located above a supermarket, and offers very basic facilities. Despite being advertised as a spa hotel, there is no spa. The rooms are very noisy. While showering our baby daughter, the metal shower control knob fell off, creating a serious safety risk. "The property was beautiful, more like a ranch. There are many animals to see as you talk a walk around the property. (Even a Camel) Once you enter the gates, you are in your own resort. I had a nice patio to enjoy the evenings with a glass of wine. The included breakfast was perfect. I also enjoyed a few lunches while on property. I treated myself to a delicious dinner at the restaurant (a short walking distance). (Make reservations at the hotel reception.) The staff were wonderful…the reception, director, servers, and nighttime bartenders! It also had a beautiful pool to relax beside and take a quick dip. (Much needed due to the extreme heat when visiting.) I enjoyed the location as it was 30 minutes west of the busy city of Cagliari. An easy drive to Chia, and on to the west side of the island. A definite recommendation!"

"Lovely room with mini fridge, great shower and balcony and really comfortable beds. Brilliant free activities for kids and teens morning 10am, afternoon 3pm and night 9pm. Watch out for the special kids activities like art classes that come with an extra charge as these at €25 are quite pricey. Activities for adults and kids are shared across three hotels in Chia Laguna so padel and table tennis were across the road but only a couple of minutes walk. There was no yoga on when we stayed which was disappointing. Food at Domus restaurant was plentiful and varied, no junk food which was great but no pizza or gelati (if you want pizza or ice cream you need to buy it from the piazza bar). Restaurant servers were not very friendly, except for the guys bringing out the food who were excellent and very helpful. There is an optional surcharge added to your bill on check out for tips for waiting staff. There is handy free road train that goes to the beautiful sandy beach nearby every 15 minutes which is brilliant. The water is clear and safe for swimming. There is a beach bar for drinks snd ice cream and an excellent water sports centre. We went horse riding near the hotel: 1hr beginners ride €45pp. We only spent a little time by the hotel pool which has a snack bar because the sun beds were so hard and uncomfortable. The beach sun loungers are divided up by hotel so the Village section has hard sun loungers. Conrad guests get lovely padded loungers so we used them in the back row."
