"The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. The owner offered us a lift into La Fortuna on our first day, but beyond that we had to keep booking Ubers which also were quite unreliable. The cabin was nice but could do with a bit of upkeep —...

"Our family had a great time at Relax House - the neighborhood is very quiet and an easy 15-minute drive into town. Our host communicated with us in advance to prepare the best sleeping arrangements for our kids and gave thorough instruction via WhatsApp on property access and amenities, though I wish we hadn’t arrived after dark, as it made it a bit trickier to find the home (but that’s on us). And the hot tub was SUCH a nice perk!"

"Everything exceeded our expectations. The ambience, the views, the food. The hot tub broke while we stayed, but the pool was wonderful and where we wanted to be anyway. There were always staff around keeping the grounds in perfect condition. We saw monkeys and tucans on the property which was awesome! The Spa was amazing!!! Highly recommended. "
