"The staff was so friendly that compensated for everything else. "I think this is my favorite place I have stayed in my life. Nothing beats waking up to the volcano view hearing and seeing all the animals around. The decor was perfection I did not want to leave. Food in restaurant was great and spa was outstanding. Cute gift shop, friendly staff. Trails around the property. You will not believe your eyes how peaceful and beautiful this area is."

"Beautiful location! I have slept in jungles on 2 other continents but Arenal Oasis feels so alive and wild! It’s loud here. Not cars, or traffic but the tree frogs, howler monkeys, chirping insects, song birds. That’s sort of the point of this place, but if you need a quiet environment bring ear plugs to sleep! Wild life was everywhere- including many poisonous species. Our kids, 5 & 8 understood not to touch anything, but I would not recommending kids any younger as the jungle surrounds...
