Verdelago is literally heaven on earth! We travel often and we generally stay at higher end places, so we are quite spoiled, but this resort is probably the nicest we have ever stayed at. The decor is beautiful and the natural setting is absolutely gorgeous. The beach is incredible and you can lounge on a fancy beach bed or chair, which is included. The property was bright and clean and my room faced into a lovely park. Nice cozy balcony. Excellent location being near the Old Town area. I had a car , although no onsite parking. It was easy to find overnight parking.
Ayomonte is a real hidden gem, unfortunate that I only had time for an overnight.
