Is my 1st time staying in this hotel and it is very convenient and assessable to train station and also to Shinkansen line too. Am travelling with my parents who is above 65 years, the location is around 7 mins walk from hotel to the train station. To Kujo station only 4 mins. Visiting Kyoto scenic places usually travelling via bus or train, and it is very convenient. Dining very limited on this area, may require to explore a bit more for more option or dining at Kyoto train station. Hotel also offer in-door bathing facilities with onsen for hotel guest. Is a very good option after a long day of walk . Would definitely recommend to stay in this hotel, very convenient and good area to stay closer to Kyoto station if you are travelling from Tokyo or Osaka.

This hotel was nicely decorated, modern and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The family room was very spacious but unfortunately didnt have storage space, so had to live out of our suitcases. This appears to be normal for Japan though. Kyoto station is 10mins walk, Kujo station is 5mins and the bus stop is 5mins. This allowed us to travel all around Kyoto without any issues. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I chose this hotel simply because it was near Kyoto Station and affordable, and did not really check the facilities closely. WOW! I was delighted to learn that they have a spa/bath on site. The room was also very, very comfortable - beds that were easy to sleep in, good lighting, strong WiFi, and a beautiful bathroom. There is a breakfast buffet if you choose to pay for it, and the selections are widely varied and delicious -- some, traditional Japanese items (rice, miso soup, fish dishes, pickles) and some Western-style (pastries, cereal, fruit salad, yogurt). The staff was also splendidly professional and accommodated all of our needs, even when it was difficult for them. Our group had 19 people, and we were a little disorganized when we arrived, but they handled our check-in with great patience. One member in our group also cannot take elevators due to chronic migraines, and although the staircase was not typically used by guests, the staff assisted us in getting access to it. Their professionalism and kindness was excellent.

Good distance from station. Has a laundry. Onsen is very popular. A fairly Japanese style breakfast but varied and does have a selection of more wester items. If you choose the eco clean they provide clean towels, remove trash and leave a bottle of water for each guest.

My only complaint is that the elevator floors were very dirty. I know it’s a high traffic area, but they had the same stains during my two week stay. Don’t get me wrong. Everything else was great and I plan on staying here again in my next stay in Kyoto. Please. Work on closing an elevator at a time for cleaning.

A walkable distance from Koyoto station, but closer to Kujo station. A few buses stop at Kujo station. The hotel was renovated and the room was spacious. There's a nice chilling area after taking a bath. The hotel takes touring groups so if you do not like crowds, this may not be your first choice as the public bath is too small to digest all the guests.

The rooms are small. Hardly any room to move around. It’s about 7 min walk from Kyoto station. Checking in is a bit cumbersome since the hotel tried to to have a self check in system. The front desk staffs should do it for the guests. Staff English speaking is low

Good Location…But…..
This property was nice, close to the station. It would’ve been a lot better if there weren’t screaming kids late at night and early morning. Running up and down the hallway. This wasn’t just one night it was 2 nights in a row. Aside from that the free drink fountain was down for maintenance and when it did get fixed the coke tasted like water. I’m sure this is not the hotels fault, it just happened. The staff was really nice and helpful. Overall it was an ok stay due to the unruly guests, their kids, and them leaving their doors open and walking in and out like it was their own house.

The hotel was new and clean. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived after 10 pm. Customers needed to check-in by themselves using the automatic system. We got stuck at some point but then someone came out to help. Nice spa for your stay
The spa facility is good. Should place a visit. The hotel room is a bit too small to move freely but it's quite common in Japan. The distance between the hotel and the train stations within 15 minutes walk. Overall it's a good hotel.

this is one of the laziest operation of a hotel. You will need to check in yourself and gather all your toiletries. No water bottles provided for guests unless you join a club that doesn't require room cleanings. Worse pillows in Asia. Book somewhere else. Very disappointed in this hotel ...so bad
