Our group had a great time staying at Novotel. Thanks Mr Khalil of reservation for all the assistance with room requests, transportation arrangement with Mr Sidik (he is the best to bring us around) and special Birthday celebration dinner arrangement. The teams from reception, the bar, restaurants, chef, house keeping are always giving their best services. BIG Thank you everyone for our group awesome holiday.

My stay at Novotel was last minute, due to travel issues between Jakarta and Bali. I wish I would have spent my entire time at Novotel. The beach was amazing and staff incredible. The room was clean and modern, while the property was classic and well maintained. Check my Insta story @emderrevin for a sneak peak of what to expect. I will return for a much longer stay.

Do not stay at this hotel
The worst chain hotel I ever stayed! We booked this hotel at first because we thought it was a safe choice, as it is part of the Novotel hotel chain. Turns out that this was the worst experience we could’ve imagine. The room smelled like mold, the room really could use a renovation, and the breakfast food was not good. The hotel is very old and I am surprised it is still on business. Please do not stay there! Waste of money.

A right choice for our stay at Kuta
We had a wonderful stay at Novotel Lombok. It is a beautiful resort looking like a lost world with attractive sculptures . The staff is efficient in arranging tours for us. We had a wonderful dinner at the hotel restaurant. The breakfast was nice with lots of varieties.

Fantastic location, not “overbuilt”, it works nicely with the local environment and doesn’t overpower it. By far my greatest compliment is to the staff. From the super friendly breeze bar staff, to reception, management and the cleaners the service was universally excellent. To name a few (although I’ll miss many), thank you to Jan, Mukti, Anto, Jumardi, Ryadi and Santana, you all once again made it a memorable stay and I will be back this year!

Nice beach front hotel with good breeze. Walking distance to a perfect spot to watch sunset. The sand is more pebble type and not as smooth as those found in gili islands. Breakfast is good and breeze bar serve some good happy hour cocktails. Watch out for the flies though. It is just irritating you have to fight your meals with flies. Management should have installed those electric flies buster at the restaurant. As for the rooms, they are ok and the only complains is there is no lift if you got 3rd floor room. Not suitable for those who have issue climbing stairs. Now the biggest minus point if you stay at Novotel, you get screwed if you dont have your own transport. There are no gojek or taxi. Only private cars. They charged a return trip from hotel to Kuta Lombok for 90k rupiah. It is only less than 3km one way and you can imagine the amount you rake up at the end of stay. Hotel should have provide shuttle service like those at Novotel Benoa Bali. Overall i still find Novotel the best hotel at Kuta and it is only the transport which is the biggest sore for visitors.

We really enjoyed our stay at the novotel. The facilities were good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The resort was right on the beach front and a 5 minute drive to Kuta beach. The buffet breakfast was great.

This hotel was one of a kind. From our travels in Indonesia this was our favourite hotel. Rooms and public areas were lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very good with lots of choice. The bulls on the beach in the morning made my day :) We will definitely return ....we didn’t want to leave this beautiful hotel.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, nice welcome when we arrived like fruit and cake in our room, lovely and thoughtful touches throughout the day like offers of complementary fruit on the beach as well as little cakes in the afternoon. Wonderful Relaxing and Peacful
The facilities are clean and well maintained. There is wifi over the entire facility. It even reaches to the beach. The staff is very accommodating and was ready to help meet any needs we had. The beds were comfortable, although the pillows were a bit too fluffy. They offer motorcycle rentals and snorkling, both of which I would recommend. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone and is good quality. The restaurant for lunch and dinner has a good variety of asian and western cuisines and the chef is willing to change or make something specific that the guests request. We were celebrating our anniversary and the hotel gave us a celebratory cake to our room. This place is very family friendly and offers different activities for kids. The beach is private, quiet and peaceful. They offer cabanas for you to relax in which is a nice getaway from the sun and has a spectacular view. The location of the hotel is very far from anything else around and a motorcycle or hired driver is necessary for exploring other areas on the island. In fact, I would recommend doing this as the entire island is very beautiful.

Western standard accommodation in Lombok
I had a great 1 night stay at the Novotel Lombok. The location is great, only 30min from the airport and near many beautiful beach spots. The staff was also very friendly and assisted me in renting a scooter. I appreciated how easy everything was as I only had 48 hours to enjoy Lombok!

Beautiful beach and area. Staff were great. Villa was a little old and dated but clean and cozy. We came not sure what to expect and have left so very happy and relaxed. Sorry to leave in fact. One small point was the annoying beach sellers that at times were too persistent. Only on the last day did the hotel have a security guy which stopped it all. Anyway was one small issue but overall we were very happy and contented

Very comfortable stay at Novotel
We enjoyed our stay in the Novotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the place has a very nice atmosphere and is very suitable for families with children. The layout of the area bordering the beach is set-up such that children will easily make contact and you have good overview as a parent. Our son had plenty of friends to play with. Breakfast is very extensive with a wide range of choices. We didn’t notice in any way that (north) Lombok was hit by a severe earthquake. The roads on the island are very good, and with little traffic transport is convenient. From the Novotel it is easy to make tours to any location, we made a nice snorkeling trip. We expect we will return here another time!

This hotel is a disgrace to the novotel brand
The rooms are average. They charge a lot more compared to most hotels in Lombok. Most of the rooms are very far from the beach. The food is below average. The beach is below average and they have done very little to improve the beach. You cannot see the ocean from most of the rooms, facilities and restaurants. They have marked up the price on everything, including water. They charge 30k for a 2 litre bottle of water. There is very little to do and see nearby. The surrounding area are mostly construction sites for new hotels, and you have to get a car to go to the nearest town. Do yourself a favor and avoid Kuta beach in lombok. Prefer Senggigi or any of the other beaches . This is by far the worst hotel that i have stayed in my 10 day bali & lombok trip, and most of them are priced way less than this.

This hotel has the most lovely location with a gorgeous private beach. The service is wonderful, although the property is a little run down, and the food is not fabulous. Still, a lovely base for exploring the beautiful south of Lombok

Great place with amazing staff and service.
We had a wonderful 8 days holiday in this amazing resort. The service by all staff was first class. They all smiled and did whatever they could to make our holiday perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Not being a very good sleeper we were moved and upgraded to a quieter room after the first night. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with beautifully clean bathrooms. The choice of food at the breakfast bar was fabulous catering for all tastes. The manager was always visible and available and checking to see if he could do anything for us. The beach areas were kept spotlessly clean with plenty of seating areas and sunbeds. Swimming pools were clean and in keeping with the character of the resort. Activities on site and visits around Lombok were well planned and could be arranged on an individual basis. We were treated as 'special' guests at all times. When it was sadly time to leave the kitchen staff made up lunch boxes exactly to our requests - plus a little bit more. Laundry service was excellent. We really felt as if we had made friends, particularly with the staff in reception and the 'beach boys'. We had an amazing time and cannot wait to return. Thanks to everyone for making our stay perfect. It was a real team effort.
