Underwhelming as a vacation hotel. The hotel itself was ok, but the surrounding area was not good. Only limited choices of food at the restaurant in the hotel. Needed to walk 10mins to find a decent restaurant. Only a small outdoor pool. Work out area is very small. Bed was ok, not very comfortable for a vacation hotel. Limited choices for breakfast. Coffee machine was not commercial level, broken every several minutes. The good side is the hotel is just several minutes walking to Daguan Park that was very beautiful with the water lilies in July. We didn’t have time to try their yoga so can’t comment on that.

The air conditioning didn't work and the staff brought a fan and left a note saying to open the window. There were smears on the glass between bathroom and bedroom. Nevertheless the concierge was excellent.

The meditation given in the afternoon and evening were great. We missed the morning yoga because we were out walking around the wetlands. Truly beautiful and virtually across the street. We lived our short stay there

"The hotel is right across the Green Lake. Traffic in Kunming was the worst I have ever seen in China, especially around the city center so be mindful how much time you need to go around places.
