"Everything about Matamanoa Island was exceptional. The staff were attentive, the food was delicious and the staff also provided the entertainment singing to the guests each evening. I stayed in a garden room which had ample space and with tea/coffee and milk provided along with complimentary toiletries I felt it represented good value for money. There were trips available to other islands aling with snorkeling trips. All in all very happy with the resort and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. "

"We had a fantastic time at Naqalia Lodge. This is a unique piece of paradise. We loved lying on hammocks in the gentle breeze, dipping in the crystal-clear water and snorkelling on the spectacular reef just steps away from the bures. We brought our own mask and snorkel, but you can hire ones there if you need. The bures are not luxurious, but they are clean and lovely. We loved kayaking around the island, going on the summit walk to the highest peak and eating freshly caught fish. The showers have only cold water, but we never once needed hot water as the temperature was so warm. We visited this beautiful island in early November 2025\. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for showing us your island, for the delicious food and for making us feel like part of the family. Vinaka."

"Had a fantastic time at Waya Island Resort. I wanted to celebrate my birthday somewhere special and this exceeded my expectations. The arrival and property is so majestic, the staff is excellent and very helpful. I loved the snorkeling excursion so much I did it twice. And of course, the massage was one of the best I've had. I felt very lucky to have found this gem of a resort."
