"An old Manor House converted to hotel with only 7 rooms. Lovely setting on the country side and with a nice little terrace towards the afternoon and evening sun. Nice large room but with a very tight bathroom. Beautiful dining room where the owners serve an excellent dinner and with nice wine pairings. In the morning we enjoyed a sumptuous and healthy breakfast. Lovely stay and we can highly recommend. "

"I have stayed in this property before and like the area. You are in a nice residential neighborhood with a short walk to the lake and path, 45 min. roundtrip. Very relaxing. The food is the standard Scandinavian breakfast. There are a few options for lunch and dinner within walking distance but the other options are in Kristinehamn 5-11 minutes away. The room had a small refrigerator so one could buy food at ICA Maxi like a bread roll and deli-meat, roasted chicken…etc. The restaurant scene...

"Smutsigt, popcorn och annat skräp under sängen. Städredskap hade varit bra så man sluppit sova i det själv. Smutsigt kök och överfull återvinning. Även om det är gästerna själva ska hålla rent efter sig skulder behövas tätare tillsyn, både av rum och allmäna utrymmen. Det skyltade om tv-rum men ingen tv fanns. Med lite engagemang skulle detta bli ett bra ställe, läget är ok och priset är bra. Dock är renlighet viktigt. Man får vad man betalar för, men det finns vandrarhem som är betydligt mer...

"We were visiting our foreign exchange daughter and her family. The hotel was lovely. Our room over-looked the river. It was spacious and comfortable. American-sized shower! The breakfast buffet was amazing. We loved the location, which was walking distance to everything. The pub "Bishop's Arms" was perfect for unwinding after a long day. We would certainly stay there again."
