The location is very convenient. Nathan Rd. is just around the corner. The subway is a short 5 mins walk away. There are quite a few supermarkets nearby - the hotel doesn’t provide bottled water, like in Japan, instead they have a water fountain on each floor. The water tastes a bit off as i checked with the hotel and turns out it comes through a pipe, not a straight up filtration system. There is free water available at the bar though, but it’ll take 5 mins to fill up a big bottle. Hotel staff are young and super friendly. We brought our baby son along so received special attention (thank you Salem!). The room is quite compact, which makes the open view to the Kowloon Oval even more amazing. We did not close the shades at night! Access to restaurants are none issue. There is a very famous BBQ goose place just 500m down the side street, which is also lined with all types of other restaurants and bars. If you walk across Nathan Rd., you will reach the old part of the area, where there are plenty of cheap eats. It’s a pity we did not get to stay on the following trip as the rate almost doubted.
