"The property has been in the owners family since the 1500s. The place was rustic and quaint. Very quiet. It is literally in the middle of the woods. We were there for Ironman race in Lahti, so it was a bit far out for the event. There is limited accommodations in Lahti for an event this size. As a result we just slept there and kept our things there. The price was reasonable for the property. The only issue we had was with Interhome who is the manager of the rental. "If you want a peaceful getaway this is the place for you. We stayed in the stand alone cottage, and it was perfect for us. We had beautiful views of the lake and the place was clean and comfortable. The water is very clear and excellent for swimming. The manager Jemma is so thoughtful and helpful. She even sent us information on things to do and restaurants to eat at. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you"

"The pictures don’t really do justice to the beauty and amazement of this place. We live in the United States and we are already planning to come back. Amazing communication with Otto before we arrived and amazing communication with Jussi when we arrived. He showed us around and explained what we needed to do to care for the place while we stayed. The only thing I would say is that the pictures don’t fully communicate how amazing this place is. Prepare for a luxury stay. Well worth the money."

"Wir haben uns im Sommerhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat alles was man braucht, insbesondre eine tolle Sauna. Der See ist ganz sauber. Im Wald haben wir viele Pfifferlinge und Beeren gefunden und im Nationalpark (ca. 45 Autominuten) mehrere Wanderungen gemacht. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation mit ihr war sehr unkompliziert. Vielen Dank! Einziger Nachteil: Je nach Wind, Tageszeit und Wochentag hört man die Straße. "
