It’s very clean, has everything you need for cooking, if you choose to. The bed was comfortable as well as the hide a couch bed. Has two balconies both with views of the ocean. It’s on the second floor which with the fans and windows open, the temperature was perfect for sleeping and in the day. The place is right by the pool, which is very quiet and relaxing. The best part about this place is right across the street at the Beach house restaurant you see the most beautiful sunsets. Also, every night at sunset the parakeets come in to nest for the night in surrounding trees and leave around 6-6:30am. A few things that could have been better. We were not notified there was additional parking in the adjacent garage and parking in the lot is small and fills up quickly. From booking through to our departure the staff of Kauai Exclusive were helpful and very accommodating. For us, it was a very pleasant place to stay for our first visit to Kauai. My sister-in-law that I was staying with was 74 and has some difficulty walking. I was not aware that there were first floor units.
