We enjoyed our vacation rental in Poipu! The gardens around the property were very well maintained and provided a nice atmosphere for catching the evening sunset. The property was in very close proximity to beaches and restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked and the other accessories like beach toys, towels, etc were a nice touch to see upon our arrival. The pool was unfortunately closed for the majority of our stay due to maintenance - we understand these things happen and the property manager / owner had good communication about this and listened to our concerns to make sure it did not damper our overall stay. If we had to give some feedback otherwise, the rental could use some upgrades in the bathroom.

We had a great stay. Location was perfect. Our favorite part was seeing the sunrise and sunset everyday. While the condo unit was a bit dated, the price and location made up for it. The furniture could use a deep cleaning. We appreciated the beach mat/chairs, cooler and snorkel gear. We would definitely consider staying here again.

We spent a few days after Christmas here and it was lovely. The house was clean and worked well for our family of 4. Nothing fancy but we spent most of our enjoying the island. So it was perfect.

Overall we were very pleased with this property! One thing I don't think we anticipated, was that being on the ground level meant we didn't want to have the shades open / windows open at nighttime for the whole world to peep in at us. That meant we kept the windows closed during the coolest time, and the living areas were frequently ~80-82 degrees. If it weren't for the AC units in the bedrooms we would have had a different story! The units were great for the bedrooms and ensured we could sleep comfortably at all hours. The unit itself was wonderful and had everything we could want / need including plenty of dishes / kitchenware and beach towels. Thank you so much for a wonderful honeymoon stay!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this property- it was in a very convenient location! The property manager was very attentive to any questions we had and addressed issues promptly (added an AC unit in a day which we were grateful for). The property also had beach equipment with chairs/umbrellas that made our days on the beach very comfortable! Right outside you can take a short walk and watch the ocean waves (we even spotted a turtle swimming!). Would recommend a stay here if you are visiting Kauai.

Appreciated the location and partial view. The condo was dated and didn't feel clean with in regards to furniture and carpet. AC function was odd. Found cockroaches in kitchen drawer. Linens were nice. The welcome basket was a lovely touch.

Four of us enjoyed our week long stay. We had plenty of room and the kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. We asked that the two twins be pushed together to make a king and our request was accommodated. We spent a lot of time on the patio and enjoyed the ocean views. The only disappointment was that the hot tub was not functioning the entire week. We were not notified of that ahead of time and were offered minimal compensation for it.

This property is just a 100’ from the roar of the Pacific. The recent renovation of the kitchen and bathrooms were well done. It is the most well stocked VRBO where we have stayed in 25 years of staying in VRBO properties. The noise level is contingent on the renters overhead. We had several large groups of large people!

This was the perfect spot to spend the week on Kauai with my teenage daughter. We appreciated how well-stocked the condo was, with everything we needed for the week. The welcome basket was also such a nice touch. Novella was very responsive and emailed/called with updates. Our condo cooled down well at night and we didn’t need the air conditioning very often, but it was definitely appreciated on a couple muggy nights. Perfect location and we hope to be back soon!

My family of 5 stayed at this very comfortable condo in June. The walkout lanai, with the flowering trees, perfect swim pool, and lawn to the edge of the ocean shore, with "our" very own blowhole made it a super place to stay. Bill & Liz had all the comforts we needed (& yes we did use the fans b/c it was warm). We liked listening to the sound of the ocean rumbling in the distance at night. Kitchen well stocked. The condo complex and property were lovely and well maintained with easy access to wonderful views of the ocean. The condo itself had a nice partial view of the ocean with lovely grass and grounds. It could be a very nice condo if it was cared for better. Although it appears clean when you enter, as you open cupboards, look at light fixtures, furniture, rugs, etc. it really needs a deep cleaning. Furniture is well-used inside and out and not necessarily what you see in the photos. The kitchen is large with lots of cupboard space, but there is too much stuff. There were random dishes on every shelf some of which had been unused so long we didn’t want to use them unless we washed them. The pantry cupboard was so full and disorganized that we couldn’t put any food away and if we pulled something out we washed it first. We had to contact the manager to have the light fixture cleaned which was full of dead bugs and dirt inside and dirty cobwebs on the outside along with a resident spider that even stayed after the cleaning making more cobwebs. What could have been a very nice condo in a very nice location was just ok since it needs some updating, organizing, cleaning and tender loving care.

We loved our time in Poipu and our stay here enhanced it greatly. So many breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, we enjoyed the lanai. Looking out at the ocean just steps away was enchanting. We would also enjoy a few lawn chairs right at the lava cliff shoreline and sit for hours and just listen. This place was perfectly positioned for enjoying the ocean and small hikes/walks east to the shoreline and beaches. The condo is spacious and all you'll need square footage-wise. The kitchen is well-appointed, for sure. The living room furniture could use updating for cleanliness and comfort--if you're going to use the place for that. The primary challenge is the portable air conditioning. There is only one unit and it adequately can cool down the master bedroom. But if you have anyone else using the second bedroom, if it was warm (80s) and higher humidity (as it was for us), it's probably not enough for someone coming from lower-humidity areas. That's just a heads-up. The management team was very responsive and informative. We would stay here again. Hopefully, we can bring our kids with us next time if they've updated the AC offerings.

After booking this unit on the lanai - the complex reached out and relocated us to another unit because it was double booked. While we prefer a ground lanai experience - we were happy with the new place and view. 2308. Not as upgraded as we would have liked. Couch needs to be replaced. Zero support to sit on. TVs were small and very dated but we could still get Netflix. Pros - the kitchen was great and had everything. Plenty of boogie boards. Snorkel gear. Sand toys. The best - we arrived and there were some treats left for us which made this a huge hit for our kids as we were starving and had no food when we arrived after 10 pm the first night. Overall - Hyatt and Poipu are right on either side. We got a day pass at the Hyatt which was amazing and Poipu beach is a 15 min walk. The pool was also a huge hit with our daughters. Very clean and convenient. Highly recommend this complex if you’re looking for a reasonably priced stay for clean, quiet and not too crowded. We would come back for sure.

We were here for a month and enjoyed the mornings and evenings on the patio. It was great that we were only a few steps from the pool and even better that we were a little more than that to point where we could watch the sunsets everynight. Landscaping around the unit was beautiful. The unit itself was spacious with two bedrooms, two baths, a well equipped kitchen, and comfortable living and dining area. There was some construction going on outside of the unit on one side of the unit the entire time we were there. Unfortunately the contractor did not place plastic sheeting over the two windows on that side of the building. Plus we were not able to completely close/seal those windows. Consequently, we had to wipe down the counters every day to clean them of the fine dirt that filtered into kitchen. This is probably a short term issue. Once the project is finished, it will go away. One downside to this unit is that it can get noisy at times. Three out of the four weeks we were there, it seemed that the tenants directly above us were stomping around or were heavy walkers. We could hear every footstep. First two families were "stompers" between 6 am and 8 am. Third group was quiet. Last family was stompers early morning between 5 am and 8am and every night. Not much anyone can do about the situation. Overall, however, we enjoyed this VRBO.
