But as it was low season, the staff upgraded my room from for free. I was very grateful and really enjoyed my stay here. They’ve a really nice swimming pool and are also just a few minutes walk from the beach. The room was clean, pool was decent, shower was alright. The drinks at the pool were pretty good but the neighborhood is pretty seedy. Be careful at night where you walk on the blocks around the hotel because the streets are dark and the sidewalks are uneven and have lots of holes. Normal air conditioning. My only real complaint was you need to take the stairs after the elevator because some of the rooms aren’t connected to the main building. Also the area is a bit seedy so I wouldn’t recommend walking at night.
