My one issue was that I was I was hoping for a pool I could swim circles in. I was thrown off by the pictures, it is too small for that, but it is perfect for lounging on the rooftop. And I really liked the rooftop, good view, lots of sun, and clean. Fortunately, the beach is a short walk away. I enjoyed the walk to the beach and back everyday. And the beach location is stellar! The water, colors, sand, etc. was a very memorable experience. Smelt wonderfully fresh and clean that’s to the aromatic oils. Room was clean and spacious. The best feature however was the small pool next to reception which was clean and more importantly COLD! Unfortunately a couple of things disappointed us, the is no actual pool on the rooftop and the shallow jacuzzi that is there is no more than a wadding pool with no working jets or bubbles. Best to turn left at the Mercury hotel and walk 10 minutes to the heart of Chaweng nightlife. Our room had a pretty serious ant problem which was dissapointing. When explaining to the staff they sprayed the room but not a lot else unfortunately. Room was modern and clean - great WiFi and good aircon. 7-11 less than 2 minutes walk away.
