The large yard enhances your outdoor enjoyment. 46" HD TV, Blu-ray player with the capability to stream Netflix, Roku TV, CD/MP3 stereo with surround sound, Foosball table, outdoor ping pong table, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo-64, Xbox One, board games, puzzles, and books galore are also available to keep your family entertained. Northpoint is a popular beach community located in Duck for active families! You will love the indoor community pool! It’s the ideal reprieve from the hot summer sun or the occasional rainy day. Northpoint’s community tennis and basketball courts are also yours to enjoy during your stay at Katmandu. Be sure to take advantage of Northpoint’s private community pier on the nearby sound for great crabbing, kayaking, and sunset views just a few minutes’ stroll from Katmandu. For your convenience, this home provides sheets and towels. Early/Priority check-in and late check-out are not available for this property. The private pool is open from mid-April through mid-October. The pool size is approximately 16’ x 33’. Optional pool heat is available for $500/week. The Northpoint community indoor pool is normally open from April 1st to the end of October. Community pool dates are subject to change. Katmandu is non pet friendly. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
