The semi-oceanfront location can't be beat, situated on the beach road in Kitty Hawk with unobstructed ocean views and direct beach access. Mariposa was designed and furnished for maximum entertainment and a resort-like experience. The expansive outdoor space is both an oasis and playground for kids and adults of all ages, including a 9-hole miniature golf course, private pool with cabana, hot tub, volleyball court and horseshoe pit. The entire yard of this dog-friendly retreat is fully enclosed, so your canine companions can safely play outside with you.  
  
Inside, the delights continue with surprising ways to relax and have fun with family and friends. On the ground floor, choose between a game of pool in the rec room or a movie night in the media room with a 75" screen and tiered, theater-style seating. Open up the windows in the sports bar to serve drinks tiki-style. It's equipped with a commercial fridge, ice maker, sink and even a keg cooler for grabbing a snack or a cold one to enjoy by the pool. An elevator is ideal for guests with mobility issues and makes getting luggage and groceries to the upper levels quick and easy. Gaze upon the breathtaking beauty of the Atlantic Ocean like never before with three levels of wrap-around decks, offering some of the most mesmerizing views found on the Outer Banks.  
  
When the beach beckons, guests can take advantage of the dune cross-over conveniently located right across the street, or use the public access with a handicap ramp just 400 feet away. Mariposa's prime location at milepost 4 in Kitty Hawk puts you within walking distance of multiple restaurants and bars, including The Black Pelican, Hurricane Mo's, John's Drive-In, and Stack'em High Pancakes.
