This sunny, comfortable cottage is updated every year to make it all new for you! You'll enjoy its bright, open, airy interior with cathedral ceilings and its location - just one street back from the beach road with a direct access (100 yards/300 feet) path straight through to the beach or you can take either cross street for a full cross walk at the beach road. There are no houses built along this stunning stretch of Kitty Hawk coastline. The cottage also sits on a quiet street that is perfect for walking or biking and is close to some of my favorite Outer Banks restaurants, shops and many other Outer Banks attractions. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms convenient. The kitchen worked well and the living space was relaxing. From the deck on the roof, one can see the ocean. It was a block and a half walk to the beach. At this time of year (late December) the beach was nearly empty and our dogs had a great time on the beach, as did we-including some fabulous sunrises. It was also a very short drive to grocery shops and great restaurants and an easy drive to Roanoke Island and Corolla. We definitely look forward to staying here again. ##### Mark M. The cottage was very clean, had plenty of towels, was located in a quiet neighborhood, and check in/out was very easy. Host was very responsive to initial questions. We brought our pet dogs and we had linens and towels provided for a small fee. The cottage is clean, well equipped kitchen (though we didn't really use it), and convenient to everything. We had a great time there with the family. ##### Phyllis W. Our first impression was that the cottage was spotless and we had very easy access thanks to clear directions! The neighborhood was comfortable and neighbors were very friendly! Nestled on a charming street, easily within walking distance to the beach, you will find everything you need here. Whether it be enjoying your morning coffee in the crows nest or settling in on the couch with a good book after a long day in the sun, this is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of your everyday life and simply recharge. We created some truly special memories with family during this stay and couldn’t be more grateful! It might have been the week we chose to stay - but the beach was close to empty until around lunch time - and even then there were not a ton of people - lots of families.
