"This location is beautiful with plenty of boat traffic, ducks, eagles, seals and sea otters to keep you entertained. I have never stayed in a home with a better stocked kitchen, it had everything we needed. It was very private and out of the way, but town was only a few minutes away if you needed something. We brought our dog with us and he loved to sit on the balcony watching the wildlife, and the access to the beach was easy for him to navigate. Very thankful that they had a yard for our dog....

"Everything was amazing, just as pictured and discribed. I loved the extra touches, organization, throw blankets and more. We enjoyed the location, easy access to town, the ferry, restaurants and sites. About 5 minutes away we would see 3 deer grazing. We enjoyed the firepit nightly. "Our family couldn’t be more satisfied with our stay in the waterfront cottage! It was nicely kept, clean, and cozy! We bought steak at a nearby grocery store and used the grill out in the balcony! It was very easy to use and the steak was cooked to perfection! I love how the whole place receives so much natural lighting and the place was very well maintained and decorated. The host was very kind and helpful front start to finish."

"Two weeks at this nice property. Even with the rain we had it was snug. Enough beautiful days to feel how lovely this area is. Close enough to Key Center for groceries, hreat Mexican restaurant in Home, nice beach state park at Joemma park. Very nice stay."

"Closed out 2023 and woke to a new year and a new day at this lovely location. Anna was a superb host and opened up and shared the home with us as it was our own. Cupboards were stocked, linens were cozy, ambiance of the lighting and fireplaces added that extra touch of romantic spark for our family to snuggle in and enjoy the stay. We loved the location, we walked to the city museums, the state park, local bakeries and neighborhood PUBs. We'd love to come back. Thank you for taking good care of...

"All the amenities you'll need for your stay with a comfortable bed and an outstanding view from inside and outside the cabin. The outside space is very relaxing and enjoyable, but know that it is not fenced, nor is it particularly kid friendly due to some uneven surfaces that are about 6 feet up from the beach. A perfect place for adults to get away, play some games, and relax on the water."

"We loved everything about our stay. The cottage was perfect for two, had all the amenities we were after, and the location was ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet with an astounding view. Our stay was 7 days and we’d planned excursions to Seattle, Victoria, whale watching, etc but we ended up staying local enjoying the hiking trails, small town lunches, and walking out our door and just a few minutes to the beach. Communication with host was excellent! Highly recommend."

"Loved this cottage! Highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to hunker down and chill out steps from the Pt Defiance - Vashon ferry. Beautiful views of the sound and the outdoor spaces are amazing. Comfy chairs throughout for relaxing while looking at the water. My only warning would be to those who can’t handle stairs as there are 2 flights to the front door and then multiple flights to the various decks. The host is super helpful and friendly and we had a great time."

"It was very clean and inviting inside. There’s no real kitchen but it had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Bathroom is very nice! Smart TVs in the rooms. The windows face the back yard which is very green and we saw a mother deer and her faun grazing. Fantastic experience!"
