"Hideo and Yuka were wonderful hosts. Hideo is a great guide and very easy to talk to. The authentic Thatch home was both beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed having coffee every morning while looking out the large windows at the cherry blossum trees. Very nice location away from all the people in Kyoto. Easy 1hr bus ride into Kyoto city. "What a great place to stay in Kyoto! So close to Gion, pontocho alley and many other attractions. The house was very clean and check in and out was very easy. The host is very communicative as well. We absolutely loved it."

"Stayed here with friends. Easy access and check-in. We enjoyed their complimentary drinks, Nintendo Switch, Netflix and the bath. This place is a great option for a group.
