Cute home and thoughtfully stocked
This was a nice home with a lot of character. Even with upgrades you can see several generations in the house, which only adds to its charm. Home was clean, AC worked well, nice calm River front, very peaceful location. You can tell this is family friendly — there are plenty of things for kids to play with and water floats and toys. The water is shallow and calm, so also great for kids. The play house/game room is a wonderful addition. Ping pong, (soft) darts, game systems, board games — there’s plenty to keep kids entertained. If all else fails there is also strong Wifi. I very much appreciated that the owners stock the home with plenty of supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry supplies, garbage bags, paper and plasticware on top of dishes and kitchenware. It’s a nice refreshing change from other VRBO rentals where you arrive and have exactly 3 squares of toilet paper and one trash bag to use before you need to go buy more at the store. Having everything stocked made it much more chill and relaxing overall. Great experience!

Perfect family gathering
Pictures do not do justice for this house. Great location, short walk to a private beach area. It is perfect for the little ones for play in the water, not too deep, not to shallow. Of the houses we've stayed at, so far this one is definitely a favorite. Will absolutely be looking to staying at this house again

Another great trip in the books. We visit this area yearly and this is the 2nd year in a row for us at this property. No major issues, other than some housekeeping concerns upon arrival however we were able to take care of those easily enough. Location is great for those with smaller children due to the large shallower water areas 1'-3', yet still deep enough for us to get our jet skis in and out easily.

Awesome location on the Llano River
This is our 3rd stay at this rental and we will be back! The only reason I did not give a 5 star for cleanliness is because the porch, which is our favorite place to hang out, had cobwebs and lots of dead leaves. Also, the porch fans stopped working.

Great family lake house
We stayed over during Thanksgiving with my kids and parents - even though it was cold and we couldn’t really venture into the lake, the views were stunning, the house was fully stocked with every kitchen item we needed (even a rolling pin for a pie I made!) and there were endless toys and games. Can’t wait to come back again!

This was our 3rd year spending time at the Sager lakehouse in late July and we’ve had 3 wonderful trips. The owners are thoughtful, communicative and kind. We love this house. From breakfast on the deck to s’mores on the fire, we want for nothing when we’re here. Our 5yr old loves the bunk beds, the kitchen has every item one could need, the kayaks are awesome, the living room is great for movies and the list goes on. From board games with our kiddo in the morning to late night ping pong matches when she’s fast asleep (it’s a separate dwelling so she can’t hear me celebrate all my victories yet I can hear her on the monitor. Win/win!), the game room kept us busy at all hours! We love that there’s a little private beach just for us, we’re a quick drive to groceries and all restaurants yet we feel so far away! We drove back to the lakehouse from town at about 10 miles an hour one evening and saw about 50 deer! It was a truly relaxing getaway that we so look forward to every year. The owners have thought of everything and we are so very grateful. We can’t wait to go back!

Cozy waterside property
We had a great time enjoying the water views, kayaking, and watching the wildlife. The water outside the cabin is pretty shallow (2 feet or less) which kept boat and jet ski traffic light. The cabin was well equipped and we found everything we needed in the kitchen. Local restaurants were nice and the drive over to Marble Falls is easy. Great stay overall!

Did not Disappoint
We lacked for nothing. Home was spacious and perfect for a family with children of any age. We had all we needed and then some. Perfectly located on the water for playing in the water for children/adults as well as pulling up jet skis for later playtime. Beds were comfy and I especially loved the back porch and separate game room. We will be back!! Thankyou, to the owners who was extremely kind and helpful when we had questions.

Great end of summer stay.
Great stay. House was perfect set up for our family. We are very familiar with this part of the lake so it was perfect for us as we only were using jet skis. Back yard is beautiful and views/sunsets are amazing. Kitchen was stocked and TV access to streaming was nice and we watched multiple movies. Kids loved game room/ping pong table. Will be renting again next summer for sure.

Breathtaking location
We had such a great stay at this gem of a property! This section of the lake is very shallow- which was great for the little kids to splash around in while parents relaxed on the beach. There was also very little traffic on the lake, and it was so nice to be able to look out across the water to wilderness, not houses, on the opposite side of the lake. The house is very clean and well- maintained, with top notch appliances. The older kids loved the well-stocked game room and had so much fun playing ping pong. This was the perfect property for our family getaway, and the hosts could not have been more kind or accommodating.

Another wonderful stay
We rented the Sager Lake house last summer and it really was everything we were looking and hoping for so we decided to rent it again! Once again, the home did not disappoint- the owner has thought of everything. There’s a little beach at the end of the property and we had the whole place to ourselves. We borrowed the kayaks, made s’mores on the fire, our 4yr old played with ALL the toys and my husband and I enjoyed ping pong in the game room after kiddo bedtime. This home is well stocked with anything you could possibly need, the owner is communicative & the location can’t be beat- even the neighbours are incredibly kind and welcoming. We loved the upgrades, especially in the living room with awesome couches and a big flat screen equipped with streaming services- made for a fun family movie night. We spent our days down at the beach/water area and enjoyed everything the home had to offer- a truly wonderful and relaxing vacation. We can’t wait to go back next year!

quiet river place
Such a lovely and quite spot on the Llano with a large yard and modern accommodations for family. This spot on the river is shallow enough to sit in some spots and just float in others. No big motor boats or jet skis causing a lot of wakes like on LBJ. The house has more than what you need to cook but not far from some quaint places to pick up food or coffee. Steve was very responsive and we felt right at home.

Incredible getaway
We took my in-laws for a short get-away and this house did not disappoint. Once we pulled in and entered that front door, we were in awe. The view was amazing, its absolutely serene. The house has a beach out front that is located on a quite part of the river/lake. The beach and lake were so much fun for adults and the kids. They have two kayaks as well and quite a few toys for the lake out front that we all had fun using. The kitchen is stocked we didn’t want for anything and we cooked every night we were there. The front porch is nice to relax on during the evenings and the game room has a ping pong table as well as board games for the whole family to enjoy. The house was clean and everything was as described when we arrived. We will definitely be back. Also the neighbors are very friendly and accommodating. This house couldn’t be a better spot to relax for the weekend or the whole week we enjoyed it!

Special week for our family
This last week our family had the best time at Sager house. The water was warm but perfect for the little’s and if you walked out a bit it was cooler. Everything we could have needed was provided by the owner’s. This was our second trip to this house and once again Steve was so easy to work with. I have rented in Kingsland for over 10 years and this house is perfect. We will be there next summer for sure…

Great stay
The house was nice and worked well for our family. The view out back was awesome. We really enjoyed the beach area! It was great for our younger kiddos and we spent a lot of time in the water. The water was calm and not too deep. Also nice that there weren’t a ton of boats up that far so we could enjoy the lake and kayaks. It’s pretty much at the upstream end of where boats can go so not much traffic at all but you can get to it in a boat if you wanted. Great spot for sure!

Fun, family friendly home!
Although it was rainy, we had a great time with family. This is a great family home. They had kayaks, floats and beach furniture, but with the rain we did not get a chance to use them. However, we enjoyed ping pong and the board games. The game room will keep you busy when it is too rainy or too hot to hit the water. We brought our own jet ski and the welcome manual advises you to trailer your jet ski at night. We did and were glad we did! Storms came up quickly, with strong high winds. The home living area and kitchen are roomy enough to gather together. The covered porch is like an additional living space as well. Everything was in good working order and we were all very comfortable. Property is as advertised! Thank you for sharing your family home with us.

This property is a GREAT place to stay especially if you have young children! The beach is perfect!
Was completely blown away by this property! The lake house was even better than expected! The layout is great and all of the rooms were spacious enough for our large group! The kitchen is VERY well stocked with everything you need and then some! But the BEST part about this house is the patio, yard and “lake beach” (as my grandson called it)! This property is located in a quiet neighbor and on a peaceful part of the river, so the kids were able to enjoy the kayaks and water without large waves. The owners are very quick to respond to emails and very helpful! We will DEFINITELY be returning!

Fun and comfortable long weekend
Very comfortable and clean home with a beautiful view. This location was such a great find! Communication with host was great and we had no problems at all. Our 3 kids (from 3-8) had a blast. Beach area was nice (not white sand, but our kids enjoyed it). We took advantage of the kayak and life jackets provided which was so nice. It is as described and owners have paid attention to details. I’ll know to check next time regarding condiments and shampoo etc. (none provided - my bad - some places have a few things and I assumed without confirming). We did have everything else we needed and it is very well stocked with toys, games, zip locks, aluminum foil (etc.) beach toys, chairs - very comfortable. The yard was beautiful and soft but there are fire ants - just be aware. Fishing was great and we even had firewood and charcoal provided (though it’s best to check first since it isn’t guaranteed). Note that I believe the damage waiver/deposit isn’t listed in the total cost until you actually book - so it can be up to $175 (ish) more if you opt for the waiver. Thanks for sharing your home with us for a great weekend!

Wonderful Stay on the Llano
Had a great weekend with our children and 3 grandchildren at your lovely home. Wonderful roomy house that is well supplied with all the necessities. The kids loved the game room and we all really appreciated the use of the kayaks. The bedrooms were very comfortable and we enjoyed the space where the hammock and firepit are on a nightly basis. Our 2 dogs could not get enough of the beautiful sandy beach. We would highly recommend your home to any family looking for a relaxing and fun trip. We absolutely LOVE this area of the Llano!!!

Perfect Family Getaway - Clean and Safe
With big travel cancelled this year, my husband and I opted to rent a home with our 3yr old and keep to ourselves. This house had everything to make a vacation wonderful. Our own private little beach was the absolute highlight, a separate game room so we could play noisy ping pong after bedtime, kayaks to borrow, a beautiful deck for meals, a fire pit for smores, close to the town but completely quiet and peaceful, the list goes on. Add to this that the owner was extremely helpful, responsive and generous, the vacation ended up being one of the best ones we've ever had. If you have littles, this is the perfect place because the sandbar right in front of the Lake house is only about 1.5 feet deep. It felt very safe. We had plenty of space and we all were able to just unwind and enjoy time at the Lake. The owner was kind enough to have a fully stocked kitchen, extras of just about anything you may have forgotten, including sand toys, life jackets, games, etc, and when we came across a tiny issue (that ended up not even being an issue), he was ready to fix it immediately. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our family to spend some time together and we hope to make this a yearly tradition. We're really grateful this home was shared with us and we can't wait to go back!

End of Summer Vacation
Our family of 3 plus dog had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at this quaint lake house. On a secluded area of the river/lake so not much boat traffic or noise, especially during mid-week. Gets more active on the weekend as one might expect. Good location in the neighborhood, large lot for the dog and social distancing during COVID, right on water which was ideal for swimming/floating and putting in the home's kayaks. Two grills for cooking outdoors, plus game room and spacious outdoor living areas made for a perfect final summer getaway and change of scenery before "virtual" school begins. Beds are comfortable and kitchen fairly well stocked. HEB 10 min away so don't need to haul all your food with you, which is great. Large living room area for evening family gathering after a days activities...which start early in August to avoid the oppressive Texas heat! Owners communicative and responsive which is nice, but not intrusive. We will definitely return in the near future. Thanks for sharing your home!

May visit to lake lbj
Great location on the lake because it is only about 4 feet deep so easy to swim in and there is a great sandbar that you can swim to. The water depth on the sand bar is only about a foot so you can put your chair out to sit in the water. Not much fast boat traffic so the waves do not bother you. Great back yard and patio. Not a long walk to the sandy beach. The beds are comfortable and the two ovens are nice to have. The separate game room with the ping pong table is a must have for teens.

Fantastic weekend getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kingsland. There were a ton of things for the kids to do, including a separate game room, so we could relax while they played. The kayaks were fun to explore the river and the sand beach kept the kids entertained for hours. Highly recommend.

Great family weekend
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and just as the pictures showed. The beds were super comfortable. My daughter is planning on buying the same mattress. "best sleep ever!" she said. The grand-kids loved the water and we enjoyed playing in it with them. The depth was great for adults to cool off and kiddos to be safe. The sunsets were great. We enjoyed making smores and gathering together near the water when the temperature cooled. Definitely planning our next stay as we hope to make this an annual getaway. You'll love it here!

Great Family House
The house was VERY clean and tidy! AC worked great, beds were comfy, showers worked well, kitchen stocked well! Our favorite parts were the back porch and the easy access to the water! Kids loved the game room and the water! Very nice neighbors were quiet and friendly. We had a few questions for the host who responded very promptly to texts. The water was great because it was shallow enough for the kids right off the beach area, but got deep enough farther out to fish, kayak or for a boat/jet ski.

Beautiful Place Perfect for Kids!
We loved our stay here. The view was beautiful and that lake was perfect for kids. It was shallow with an island nearby they could almost walk to. The kids loved the game room. Wonderful house and visit
Three of us stayed at this house in early April, 2019 and it was the perfect spot for a mini family reunion. The house is as pictured and described and is very well appointed. The layout is nice - open and airy and has a wonderful view of the water. It had everything we wished ... and more. We made use of the many amenities: kayaked almost every day, the outdoor grills and fire pit were super, and we played darts and cards in the game room building. We did not use the floats, but there are plenty and the lake was clean and warm. The porch was delightful ... it was so nice to have our coffee there in the morning and cocktails for the beautiful sunsets in the evening. The owner was very responsive and prompt in answering any questions or to be of service. A binder was in the house, which contained all the necessary information about the home - TV, wifi, appliances, game room, etc. And everything worked, no concerns whatsoever. The house was very clean, the showers had great water pressure, the beds were comfortable, plenty of pots and pans and cookware. The HEB store is close for groceries and we day tripped to Marble Falls and Buchanan Lake one day. Mostly, we were just content to be at the property enjoying the view and serenity. Five stars from us! To the owners, thanks for sharing your lake house. We loved it.

We had a great time!
We had so much fun at this property. There were 7 of us and it fit us all nicely. It was perfectly clean. The AC was wonderful in the house and the game room. We rented stand up paddle boards from a local business and used the property’s kayak. It was a total blast. The only thing I would mention is the water in this location is not really for swimming because they’re is a ton of plan life that you get tangled in and it’s kind of creepy but for our use it was great. The deepest if gets is about 4 feet on the other side of the river but most of it is about 2 feet this time of year at least (August). Would be a great spot for fisherman too, we saw a ton of fish jumping. I highly recommend!
