"I wish I could give six stars for cleanliness. The entire hotel smelled like fresh, clean linens—not a trace of the usual hotel mustiness. One of the cleanest and freshest properties I’ve stayed at. Breakfast exceeded expectations as well. Alongside the standard assortment of muffins, bagels, pastries, and other buffet items, there were plenty of protein options and a nice variety overall. The red velvet waffle was a standout—something you don’t see often at hotel breakfasts, and it was surprisingly delicious. Small touches like that helped the property feel a notch above average. Room was also spacious and clean. Coming from a few nights at the Venetian, in a newly remodeled king suite, I think I like this La Quinta better."
