Location was good. Place was well lit. Breakfast was limited. Waffle iron timer wasn't working. Bathtub needed a makeover as it was peeling. Water pressure was great though. Parking was very good. Had trouble with our tv where there was no sound on the channel we wanted to watch but no one offered to help.

We needed a landing spot for a long drive to the beach and this place fit the bill. In fact, many of the guests were doing the same thing. Check in was easy. Property is dated but obviously cared for. Rooms were clean and updated. Paint was peeling off the bathroom door, but it didn’t bother us. We arrived in time to sit by the pool for a few minutes but before we could do that, we had to sign a waiver. The pool was supervised by management and rules were clearly posted. Sometimes places like this don’t have well maintained pools. We were impressed with the condition of this pool and the chairs. We drove down the road to a Mexican grill close by for dinner. The hotel breakfast consisted of seriously awesome coffee but we passed on the prepackaged sweet rolls and walked across the road to Waffle House. Overall, this is a great spot for what we needed.

The room was clean the bed was made the bathroom was decent. A quite nights sleep. Few minor paint spills in the bathtub from touch up painting. Staff was curitious and parking was good. No breakfast was served at the establishment.

The rooms were clean and the area is quiet. A very short drive to Pilot Mtn for hiking, which was the reason for our trip. The breakfast menu was limited, the coffee was not very good.

Friendly staff, plenty of parking, room was clean and comfortable bed. Many dining options nearby. Close to highway for easy travel. Plenty of space to walk service dog but would be handy to have a trash dispenser to deposit pet waste as this facility is pet friendly .

The room seem to be hurriedly cleaned if you can call it cleaned. The coffee maker still had the coffee filter from the last guest in the coffee maker. There was only one paper cup in the room for 2 guests. The bathtub was so stained it looked like it had not been cleaned. The toilet needed to be worked on as you had to flush twice to get it to flush. The refrigerator needed to be defrosted as the freezer part was almost full of ice and looked as it had not been wiped out in sometime. The ice bucket had no plastic liner, and I had to get it from one of the employees. The day was hot and the air conditioner was not turned on when we arrived and when we did it had a stale odor. At least the bed was clean. We had stayed there several years ago and did not find it in this condition. This is the only motel in King, NC so we had to make do. If I had not booked the room with no refund, we would have left. I NEVER plan to stay there again.
