Very nice property. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was nice with a good choice, even though it was a bit early.

Great hostess. Very friendly. Rooms are extremely charming and cozy. En suite and bathroom very clean, as well as the bedroom. Would absolutely stay here again when visiting the area. Delicious food (breakfast- B&B). Very welcoming.

Hazelwood is Home
This was an absolutely perfect B&B with host Norah providing a homely stay for my wife and I. The location in Killarney was very convenient to all aspects of the city and the surrounding tourist attractions were easily reached. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price and it was truly home cooking with all the trimmings. Being on one level was also an attraction as it was easy to get from the car to the room. Norah also offered good advice on local attractions and the whole stay was very pleasant. Strongly recommend this B&B.

My best friend and I just had the pleasure of staying at Hazelwood! Nora And her husband (the owners) are sweet as pie and the breakfast was excellent! Worth a stay if you are in Killarney!

Our hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable about local area. They provided us with maps and brochures about the area. We had a full Irish breakfast which was delicious. They let me use the house phone to call the car hire company. They couldn't do enough for us.

It was like visiting my Grandmother, long ago!
Killarney is one of the highlights of my trip to Ireland, and I stayed there several days longer than I had expected. This was an older property, located on a street that led directly into the center of town, about a mile away. The property was clean, and the rooms were of average size, with good wi-fi. What distinguishes this property, is the wonderful service provided by Nora and Morris, the owners. I felt more like I was visiting my grandmother long ago, than checking into a hotel! Her service was as good as her breakfasts! She could not have been nicer! I had a car, but did not want to be driving after a few beers, so I decided on a taxi. Mr. Morris tried to call one on his local phone for me. When we could reach one, he just gave me a ride into town, and would not accept any money. It was easy to catch a cab home, for about seven euros. They were both excellent!

Highly recommended and very friendly
Location is a little far from town centre for anyone with children but there are shops etc nearby. The room was clean and well kept but decor a little dated. It was quiet and comfortable. Nora was friendly without being nosey and helpful without being pushy. Breakfast was tasty and ample. Overall we loved our stay and are fortunate to meet the lovely owners. Would recommend.

Excellent B&B close to town
Hazelwood is an excellent B&B manged by a very caring, enthusiastic and kind person who is also very generous with very fresh breakfast serving. Rooms are clean and equipped adequately for short stays. Location is very good as the town is close by as is the Supermarket which is less than two minutes drive away. Close also is the junction with the main road to Cork. Our only comment was that the accommodation could do with renovation as the decor appears somewhat tired but not enough for us not to come back should the need arise plus some comfortable seats. Overall good value for money.

this is a very nice B&B, but what makes it very good is the wonderful couple that run it and make you feel like a king. they are terrific. Also they have great 3-4 bed rooms for families.

We arrived here after an overnight flight, then drove from Dublin. We were exhausted, and pretty much slept for 12 hours. It was quiet and Nora was a wonderful hostess! Great first night experience in Ireland!

A lovely little B&B close to town but a taxi is only around €8 if you don't feel like walking home after sampling Killarney's excellent pubs. The owners are very welcoming and helpful with lots of information and suggestions on hand but without being pushy or annoying. One evening (well actually it was 2am) I called there number by accident and luckily they were very forgiving! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again.

Good location. 20 min walk to town. €8 taxi home. Bit dated but reasonable value. Booked a double room which was supposed to contain a double and a single bed but got two single beds. Shower poor.
