Nice and easy place to park our car. The old cemetery and church outside our window threw us off at first, but it added to the Kilkenny experience. Room was big and clean. Great restaurant and pub downstairs with live music. Everything else, including sights, restaurants, shopping were easy to walk to. We did not need our car while we were there, but it was nice to know that it was in a safe place. Breakfast was nice. Overall great stay.

Langtons has an amazing accessible parking lot behind the hotel, even though they’re smack dab in the middle of the continent/downtown historical area. We enjoyed our stay, with friendly and helpful staff members, lots of onsite restaurants and facilities for events, and tasteful rooms. Where Langtons fell short was the smell of urine and poop from the plumbing there (I can only assume). It doesn’t make you feel clean. We also had a pretty aggressive neighbor on a Monday night who was banging on doors and yelling. It was kinda scary. There was yelling back and moaning. Super weird and made us feel a bit unsafe. Otherwise, great hotel for location, room, service, and food.

No parking, awful bed
Beautiful room but I was delayed 45 minutes going for dinner because there was no parking. Langton’s used to reserve parking for guests but not anymore apparently. I was told there was an ‘event’ on and the car park was packed with cars being abandoned. The staff then did help me get a space (and great staff in general) but I was delayed for my dinner reservation significantly. Important to prioritise your guests for parking especially when there is no here options nearby. Also, bed was awful and very uncomfortable. It was two beds only held together by a sheet and it had wheels so it was sliding and separating all night. The room was fabulous but need to get the basics right. I also think that for the price or the room (E280), breakfast should be included. I’ve stayed at Langtons a number of times but would not stay anymore.

Hotel superior suite was a very nice room but bed could have been more comfortable, room was a bit cold even with the heater on full blast & the water for a shower or bath was not hot enough.

Langtons is great value , the rooms are superb , it’s surprisingly big it just seems to go on and on , the food is very good , and the staff are really friendly and so efficient. Can’t recommend enough as a place to stay in Kilkenny

This hotel is conveniently located for those wanting to explore Kilkenny city centre and. Our room was generally very decent, however, we experienced a couple of issues. First, there was no hot water for the shower (was told to let it run for 15 minutes, but still no hot water). Second, when we asked about heating the room itself, staff were unable to provide us with direction on that and there are no clear directions provided in the room.

Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel. Our room was large as was the bathroom. Bed was not the most comfortable. Fabulous breakfast including table service and buffet selection. The best hotel breakfast we've ever had. Location is great, right on the main road, close to attractions and restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Older but very well kept. The food is excellent. We stayed with a 10month old and the hotel provided a travel cot. Wish we would have stayed another day there

Room was spacious & clean but alot of outside noise from traffic & people making it difficult to sleep and that was mid week wouldn’t want to be there over a weekend.

Probably the nicest hotel we’ve seen in all Europe. Endless gardens, bar, restaurants in this complex. Beautifully decorated, pea. Our garden room was beautiful and comfortable.

Perfect location for walking the area and proximity to the castle. The hotel is beautiful and our room was huge. However, our room was also over the bar and it was quite loud. The dinner we had in the bar was good, but the included breakfast was fair at best.

Amazing Kilkenny Hotel
This place was AMAZING. 11/10. The hotel was beautiful just to walk through, and the room was one of the biggest ww stayed in during our two week vacation. It was wonderfully appointed, spotless, and honestly felt like a steal for the money we paid. Breakfast, which was included, was delicious and kept us full all day. The front desk staff was also wonderful, and recommended a bar that ended up being our favorite of the trip. My only regret is that we only stayed for one evening, because i would have loved to stay here for a week. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Completely unacceptable stay in Kilkenny
The room itself was spacious and nice albeit hot with no AC and a heat wave in Ireland this week. Unfortunately, the triple bed rooms they placed us in are right above the bar that began loud music in the evening. It was so loud you could hear every lyric of every song and the floor of our room was actually vibrating. The front desk when called said we should have been notified of the room location above the bar after we booked. We were NOT. And at 11pm there was no other room available to move to. The intolerable noise continued until 1:30am and then past that when the patrons spilled on the street and were shouting and laughing. We would never have stayed there if this was known. The location, parking, and breakfast were all wonderful but we left exhausted.

Nice Property
We wished we booked more than 1 night. Unexpectedly beautiful room and great location -.before checking in we walked acroas the street to Sullivans Brewery and a snack next door at Bridies. Breakfast was a wonderful addition to our early morning start. We wanted to checkout early but there was no place to leave a key until someone arrived at front the counter at 8am.
